1 Roadway Closures / Limited Access City Twilighter 5K Race Saturday, July 27th th, 2013 Multiple s in City lease be aware that numerous road closures will be in place on Saturday evening, July 27th between the hours of 6:30 M and 11:15 M due to the running of the City Twilighter 5K Race. lease plan accordingly. In the event of a medical emergency, dial 911. An emergency evacuation plan is in place. The following lane closures will be in effect between 6:30 M and 11:15 M: North Bound Lanes of between 23 rd and 20 th South Bound Lanes of between 23 rd and 20 th o A single south-bound access lane from 20 th street to the parking garage entrance at 2100 will be provided. o A single south-bound exit lane will be provided at the 2200 exit with access to 23 rd Note there will be parking and limited access restrictions in the horseshoe driveway at 2121 starting at Noon. The following lane closures will be in effect between 8:00 M and 9:45 M: All lanes of between Route 1 and 23 rd. North bound lanes of between 20 th and 15 th. One south bound Lane of between 20 th and 15 th. Western-most southbound lane between 15 th and 20 th to remain open to provide garage parking access. North Bound Lanes of otomac Avenue between and the otomac Yard Movie Theater. One South Bound Lane of otomac Avenue between 33 rd and the otomac Yard Movie Theater. Western-most south bound lane to remain open to provide garage parking access and circulation. 33 rd between otomac Avenue and. The following lane closures will be in effect between 8:30 M and 9:00 M: Horseshoe driveway at Access to the horseshoe driveway at 2345 will be accessible until approximately 8:30 M and is scheduled to reopen by 9:00 M at the latest. Note for Ruth s Chris Steak House The Horseshoe driveway will be accessible from 23 rd up until shortly before the race start (approximately 8:30 M) after which point access closed until approximately 9:00 M when the last set of runners passes through the driveway. Any runners that have not passed through the driveway will be diverted by ACD to the sidewalk in order to permit opening of the driveway for valet operations. laza Buildings & City Shops (2100 & 2200 ): These garage facilities will be accessible from the north via. One south bound lane is to remain open between 15 th and 20 th. Traffic will be stopped by an ACD post at 20 th. Vehicles destined for the 2100 and 2200 garages will be allowed to pass. All other vehicular traffic will be diverted to 20 th. Vehicles must exit the garage from 2200 entrance/exit. Entry into 2100 and 2200 will not be permitted from the south. 220 Twentieth : The garage entrance on 20 th will not be affected. The garage entrance along (2100 ) will also remain open, however, vehicles exiting the garage will be directed to exit at 2200 to continue south on. Gateway 3 & 4 - North ( th ): Access will be maintained. Regional road closures, however, may affect how you get to/from this facility. Mall Buildings (1801, 1851, and 1901 S. Bell ): Access to garages and driveway entrances for these facilities will be maintained. The western-most south bound lane of will remain open throughout the course of the event. All employees, tenants, and visitors, however, should be informed of the surrounding closures as they may affect the most direct travel route to this facility. Square Buildings (1550 & 1750 ; 251 & th ; and 1515 Jefferson Davis Highway): Access to garages and driveway entrances for these facilities will be maintained. The western-most south bound lanes of will remain open throughout the course of the event. All employees, tenants, and visitors, however, should be informed of the surrounding closures as they may affect the most direct travel route to this facility. Lenox Club ( th South): Access will be maintained. Regional road closures, however, may affect how you get to/from this facility. North Tract Lofts ( th S.): Access will be maintained. Regional road closures, however, may affect how you get to/from this facility. One & Two otomac Yard (2777 ): Employees, tenants, and visitors parking in the garage facilities of One & Two otomac Yard will be impacted by this road closure. lease note that garage entrances and exits along and otomac Avenue will be closed for the duration of the event. 3 Concord Luxury Residences (2600 ): The garage entrance along for the Concord Luxury Residences will not be accessible for the duration of the race. If you need your vehicle during this time period, please plan to exit/enter the garage from the Clark exit/entrance. Daily parkers will NOT be able to access the Clark exit/entrance and should plan to exit/enter the facility prior to or after the planned road closures. Marriott Capital View Hotels - Renaissance and Residences Inn (2800 South otomac Avenue & 2850 South otomac Avenue): Access restrictions will be in place for garage entrances to this facility for the duration of the race. Vehicles will NOT be able to access the garage facility at the hotel during the closure. Camden Apartments (3535 S Ball ): Access to garages and driveway entrances for these facilities will be maintained. The western-most south bound lane of otomac Avenue will remain open throughout the course of the event. The Eclipse on Center ark Condominiums (3600 S. Glebe Road): Access to garages and driveway entrances for these facilities will be maintained. The western-most south bound lane of otomac Avenue will remain open throughout the course of the event. All employees, tenants, and visitors, however, should be informed of the surrounding closures as they may affect the most direct travel route to this facility.
