2 SATURDAY [XX:XX] Flight Lands - Study Tours Brisbane team welcomes you at the Brisbane Airport. [07:30] Welcome Breakfast & Orientation Group arrives at accommodation Comfort Inn & Suites Robertson Gardens for check-in, tour and familiarisation of the property, and a full hot and cold buffet breakfast. Breakfast is served fresh every morning by the Robertson Gardens chefs. Pastries, fruit, tea, coffee, and an assortment of hot and cold dishes are available for all. Guests are also welcome to make the most of the outdoor gym equipment, pool, and native grounds of the hotel during their stay. DEPART FRIDAY (FLIGHT DETAILS PENDING - COORDINATED BY GROUP ORGANISER) [12:00] Traditional Aussie BBQ Lunch After a chance to rest, relax and unpack, the group is then treated to a delicious traditional Aussie BBQ lunch by the hotel poolside. Prepared fresh by the Robertson Gardens hotel chefs, many food options are available today including steak, prawns, mushrooms, rice, salad, sausages and fruit. Coach departs at 1:00pm.

3 SATURDAY [13:30] South Bank After lunch the coach transfers the group to Brisbane s renowned cultural district of South Bank. Here they re taken on a guided tour through the area to see iconic attractions, such as Brisbane s Wheel, the man-made beach, the extensive South Bank Grand Arbour, and the lush gardens and parklands along the Brisbane riverbank. Afternoon tea will be provided to be enjoyed in a nearby park. [15:30-17:45] Brisbane River City Hopper Cruise & Robertson Gardens Dinner [18:30] Archerfield Speedway Departing the hotel at 5:45pm after dinner, the group is next transported to Archerfield Speedway for an evening of fun and entertainment. Watching local car racing teams compete on a genuine dirt racing track, the group will also discuss aerodynamics, gravity and mechanical vehicles, and the psychology of winning. The coach departs at 9:00pm to return to the hotel for the evening. By 3:30pm the group will meet at a nearby ferry terminal for a cruise across the Brisbane River in the iconic Brisbane City Hopper Ferry. The City Hopper has been providing river transport services to the people of Brisbane for decades and is a great way to see the river. Once across the river, the group meets the coach to return to Robertson Gardens and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by the hotel chefs by 5:00pm.

4 SUNDAY [07:00] Full Hot & Cold Buffet Breakfast in the Robertson Gardens restaurant. [09:00] Wild Kangaroos & Morning Tea Straight after breakfast, the coach picks up the group at 8:00am and departs for the Gold Coast. The coach will stop on the way to see kangaroos in the wild; a perfect opportunity for some photos. The group is then invited to enjoy a relaxing morning tea in nature at approximately 10:00am. Here they ll also have the chance to observe wild pelicans, and learn about the native animals in the South-East Queensland coastal region. [11:00] Holoverse on the Gold Coast [12:00-20:30] Gold Coast Tour: Burleigh Heads and Surfers Paradise Continuing exploration of the Gold Coast, the group next stops at The Spit for views and photos overlooking the coastline, discussing land and water conservation and coastal erosion. By 1:30pm the coach arrives at Burleigh Heads for lunch at a pizza restaurant and a tour of the coastal rainforest and beaches of the region, including a chance for ball games on the beach. At 4:30pm the group is escorted to Surfers Paradise for a tour of the waterfront markets and a chance to purchase souvenirs, before dinner at a renowned Thai restaurant at approximately 6:30pm. The coach returns to the hotel by 8:30pm. By 11:00am the coach arrives at Holoverse to partake in a virtual reality experience. The state of the art venue uses advanced holographic technology to project floating objects, and has a number of unique VR scenarios. Tour participants will fly over the Gold Coast in virtual reality and experience this unique, amazingly immersive technology as entertainment first-hand.

5 MONDAY [07:00] Full Hot & Cold Buffet Breakfast in the Robertson Gardens restaurant. [10:30-14:00] Mount Tamborine Tour: Curtis Falls, Glow Worms, Glider Lookout After breakfast this morning the coach departs at 9:00am for a tour of Mount Tamborine, starting with a guided walk through Curtis Falls rainforest at 10:30am, and followed by an educational visit to the Glow Worm caves at 12:30pm to learn about the unique creature found only in Australia and New Zealand. By 1:30pm the group is transferred to the mountain peak where local hang gliders fly down into the valley, offering the perfect opportunity for photos and views over the region before departing for lunch. [14:00] English Pub Lunch By 2:00pm the coach transfers the group to a traditional English pub for lunch. The entire lunch hotel venue has been relocated from England, providing an insightful look into historic western culture. The unique establishment is great for photo opportunities and the genuine furnishings can be enjoyed along with a delicious meal. [15:30-21:30] Sanctuary Cove & Recycled Raft Building Challenge After lunch the coach departs for Sanctuary Cove for a tour of a gated community in the suburb of Hope Island on the Gold Coast. Here the group will see the boat marina and private homes on the waterfront, with the chance to explore the area at their leisure. The coach returns to Robertson Gardens by 5:30pm, giving everyone a chance to freshen up before dinner at 6:30pm. At 7:30pm following dinner, the group is escorted to a function room in the hotel and for an evening of educational fun are tasked with the construction of a raft made from recycled materials. Includes discussion on plastic waste material and conservation, with the rafts to be tested later in the week.

6 TUESDAY [07:00] Full Hot & Cold Buffet Breakfast in the Robertson Gardens restaurant. [09:30-13:00] QUT CUBE & Brisbane City Botanic Gardens Departing from the hotel at 9:00am, the coach delivers the group to the Queensland University of Technology to see the CUBE installation. Many interconnected touch-screen displays covering an entire building wall allow people to interact with this impressive feat of technology for entertainment and education, with a focus on science and engineering. Alongside QUT is the renowned Brisbane City Botanic Gardens. After visiting the CUBE, the group will enjoy morning tea and have the chance to explore the lush parklands, before continuing into the Brisbane CBD for lunch at approximately 12:00pm. [13:00-14:00] Healthy Land & Water [14:00-18:00] Brisbane CBD, City Hall, Kangaroo Point Cliffs By 2:00pm the group is escorted to Brisbane City Hall for a tour of the Brisbane Museum and to gain an understanding of the city s history while seeing the local government Council Chambers. By 4:00pm the group is taken on a guided walking tour of the Brisbane City streets to see the street art installations throughout and do some souvenir shopping. Then, by 6:00pm, the coach heads to Kangaroo Point Cliffs for some amazing photo opportunities overlooking Brisbane River and the city skyline on dusk, before returning to the hotel for dinner at 7:30pm. [20:30-21:30] Evening Activities: Personal Arts Following lunch at a restaurant in the CBD, the group is escorted to the Healthy Land & Water facilities for a tour and informational seminar. The Australian not-for-profit organisation uses evidence-based research and monitoring of South East Queensland waterways to determine catchment health. A company representative will provide the group with first-hand insight on these practices today. After a delicious dinner prepared by the Robertson Gardens chefs, the group is escorted to one of the hotel s function rooms to partake in an arts and crafts workshop. A fun evening of activities allows everyone to design their own artistic creations using unique art materials; a perfect hand-made souvenir to take home.

7 WEDNESDAY [07:00] Full Hot & Cold Buffet Breakfast in the Robertson Gardens restaurant. [09:30] Flavour Creations After breakfast the coach departs at 9:00am for a presentation and tour by Flavour Creations, a Brisbane based specialist food and drink manufacturer that researches and develops innovative dysphagia and nutrition products intended to support a healthy lifestyle, including a focus on aged care products. [11:30-14:00] Sun Products & Organic Health Food Store Tour [15:00-19:00] Aussie Cooking Class & Restaurant Dinner Next the group is transferred for a tour of Sun Products, gaining an insight into a wide range of all Australian vitamins and beauty products supplied locally and available on an international scale. Includes an informative talk from a company representative, and each tour participant has the opportunity to purchase some product samples to take home as gifts or souvenirs. By 1:00pm the group is treated lunch in a nearby pub, followed by a visit to a nearby organic health food store at 2:00pm to see many interesting health products and produce options. Back at the hotel by 3:00pm, the qualified chefs at Robertson Gardens conduct an educational and fun cooking class for the group. During this workshop the participants will learn the basics of home cooking, as well as gain an insight into the workings and practices of professional chefs and the hospitality industry. The class focuses on cooking some traditional Australian meals or desserts, such as lamingtons or pavlova. The culinary creations are to be sampled at dinner time and served in the hotel restaurant at approximately 6:00pm. [19:00-21:00] Indigenous Arts Class After dinner, the group winds down with a cultural arts and crafts session run by a qualified trainer. In this informative workshop, you ll learn and discover the nuances of Australian Aboriginal culture. Contrast and compare what you learn about indigenous culture in Australia compared to back home, discovering the origin of colour blending, and see what original artistic creations you can come up with. A great chance to create a take-home souvenir or gift.

8 THURSDAY [07:00] Buffet Breakfast served in the Robertson Gardens restaurant. [09:30-12:00] Karawatha National Park & Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary Following a hearty breakfast the coach departs to first visit Karawatha National Park and Discovery Centre. Here the group will gain an understanding of native Australian flora and fauna via interactive exhibits and natural displays, including a bush walk and morning tea in the natural surroundings. By 11:00am the coach transfers the group to Daisy Hill Koala Sanctuary for an insightful learning experience focusing on koalas, covering topics such as conservation, healthcare for koalas, and the importance of native animals in local ecosystems. [12:30-15:00] Westfield Garden City After an educational morning, the group is transferred to Westfield Garden City and provided with an allowance for lunch. There are many food options to choose from in the centre s expansive modern food court. While here, the group also has the opportunity to do some souvenir shopping, and will be taken on a guided tour to explore the different products and produce available as compared to back home. Coach picks up the group by 3:00pm. [15:30-18:30] Recycled Raft Racing & Indian Restaurant Dinner Back at the hotel, the recycled rafts created earlier in the tour are put to the test. The group will meet by the poolside for an afternoon of fun and some afternoon tea. After a chance to freshen up, the group is transferred by 6:30pm to an Indian Restaurant for a delicious dinner.

9 FRIDAY [07:00] Buffet Breakfast served in the Robertson Gardens restaurant. [10:00-13:30] Paradise Country [14:30-16:00] QLD Museum & GOMA Departing Paradise Country at 1:30pm, the coach transfers the group next to the Queensland Museum and Gallery of Modern Art. Here they ll undertake a tour of the latest educational exhibits and art displays throughout both facilities. The displays cover a huge range of topics and subject matter, from the natural history of the earth to the ancient and modern history of man. Coach picks up the group and departs by 4:00pm. [16:30-18:30] Roma Street Parkland & Mount Coot-tha Lookout First off today the group is transferred down the Gold Coast to an establishment known as Paradise Country for some true insight into Aussie heritage. Here they ll see a range of native Australian wildlife, such as kangaroos, dingoes, and koalas. They ll also see a number of Australiana themed exhibits, displays, and shows, such as genuine sheep shearing and cattle dog herding trials. The trip to Paradise Country also includes a delicious lunch and the opportunity for each participant to take home a photo holding a koala. Next up this afternoon the group is escorted to the lush Roma Street Parkland for a tour of the greenspace set up in the CBD. Includes exploration and information about the water dragons, herb gardens with annual plantings on display, flora and fauna, and the chance for a game of football on the open field spaces. By 5:30pm the coach picks up the group and heads to Mount Coot-tha for scenic views and photos overlooking Brisbane City, before departing for the hotel by 6:30pm. Dinner is served in the Robertson Gardens restaurant by 7:30pm, and the group is reminded to pack and prepare for tomorrow s departure.

10 SATURDAY [07:00] Buffet Breakfast served in the Robertson Gardens restaurant. [08:30] Wynnum Manly Tour and Direct Factory Outlet Shopping (time dependent) After a final buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant, the group checks out of Robertson Gardens. If time permits before the their departing flight, the coach will transfer the group to Wynnum Manly, a scenic stillwater beach, for a day of relaxing exploration and fun in a seaside town. Alternatively, the group may be taken to the Direct Factory Outlet store for some final souvenir shopping before their flight. Participants are advised to purchase their own lunch today. The coach will transport the group to the airport within 2 hours minimum of their departing flight. Coach departs for Brisbane International Airport to arrive within 2 hours of your flight.
