3 On Campus Shuttle: FLASH FORWARD (free local area shuttle service serving ASU and Tempe). From Sheraton Four Points Hotel, walk west toward campus on Apache Blvd. You will pass Paseo del Saber, and McAllister Ave. A few feet west of McAllister, on the NW corner of Apache and McAllister, wait at the FLASH FORWARD bus stop. The bus will stay on Apache (west) and turn on Forest Ave (north). You will get off at the third stop north of Apache, at the corner of Forest Ave. and Gammage Parkway (past the College Ave. and Lemon St. bus stops). Walk east through the small garden. The Memorial Union (MU) Building (2 nd Floor) is the next building you will see past the large water fountain. Take the same route back to Sheraton Four Points Hotel. However, on the way back to the Sheraton, the bus is called the FLASH BACK. Flash Forward route map (blue line). 5 Thursday, December 2 - Dinner at Macayo s Mexican Depot Cantina and Restaurant (take light rail to and from Sheraton) The dinner will be hosted by Salt River Project and Arizona Public Service. It will be at Macayo s Depot Cantina and Restaurant. The menu will consist of traditional Mexican dishes. Entertainment will be provided. Metro Light Rail will be your transportation to and from Macayo s. You will be given a blank all-day pass for the light rail. From the Sheraton, the light rail station is ½ mile. Turn right and walk north on Rural Road past the ASU campus to Tyler Street. Cross Tyler Street (across the tracks) and turn left onto the light rail station. This will be the University Dr/Rural stop. Stay on the Westbound platform (heading west toward Phoenix). Place your ticket in the VALIDATE slot. This will date stamp your pass, good for 5 days. You will get off in two stops at the Mill Ave/Third St (after the Veterans Way/ College Ave stop). From the stop, turn left, and walk heading west in the same direction as the light rail you were on. You will begin to see a dark red building with purple and white signage that says Depot Cantina. Once you reach Ash Avenue, take a left across the tracks and through the crosswalk over to Macayo s Depot Cantina. To return to the Sheraton, walk back to the light rail station, and take the opposite platform on the Eastbound side (heading east toward Mesa) and get off at the University Dr/Rural stop.
