Telephone: DAY 2: FRIDAY 9 OCTOBER 2015 Meeting Room Regency I - IV SESSION 5 09:00 10:30 REGIONAL WORKING GROUPS: MOVING TOWARDS THE MERIDA DECLARATION The Regional Working Groups will consider the role of NHRIs in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and also 3

The purpose is to identify NHRI activities, strategies, areas for collaboration with other key stakeholders, current strengthen and weaknesses of NHRIs to engage, capacity building needs of NHRIs, as well as the role and possible activities for the ICC Working Group on Sustainable Development. Regions should also identify specific follow up activities to the Merida Declaration.
