4 Big numbers - now Currently the Hospital and Health Service: Provides over 20,000 surgical procedures Treats over 95,000 emergency department presentations Delivers over 2,500 babies Dispenses almost 100,00 prescriptions Performs over 91,000 medical images (x-rays, CTs, ultrasounds and MRIs)

5 More big numbers.. In order to provide these services to patients, the HHS will use over: 5.6 million pairs of disposable gloves 211,000 needles 150,000 packets of paper towels 450,000 sheets and 211,000 blankets To feed our patients at Nambour Hospital alone over 200,000 litres of milk, 62,000 eggs and 11,000 kilograms of vegetables will be used.
