1 Appendix G: SOUTH WEST Region Map and Descriptor The South West region extends across the bottom of Queensland as far as Ipswich in the East and the Queensland/South Australian border in the West. This region follows the boundaries of two Medicare Locals (Darling Downs South West Queensland and West Moreton - Oxley Medicare Local) combined.

It extends from the coast (including Moreton and Fraser Islands) in the east and Boundary Road in the west. This region follows the boundaries of four Medicare Locals (Sunshine Coast, Metro North Brisbane, Greater Metro South Brisbane and Gold Coast Medicare Locals) combined.
