1 DONCASTER METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE 22ND SEPTEMBER, 2015 A MEETING of the PLANNING COMMITTEE was held at the CIVIC OFFICE, DONCASTER on TUESDAY, 22ND SEPTEMBER, 2015 at 2.00 p.m. PRESENT: Chair Councillor Iris Beech Vice-Chair Councillor Dave Shaw Councillors George Derx, Susan Durant, John Healy, Eva Hughes, Alan Jones, Andy Pickering, Alan Smith and Jonathan Wood. APOLOGIES: An apology for absence was received from Councillor Sue McGuinness. 33. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST, IF ANY No declarations of interest were made at the meeting. 34. MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 25TH AUGUST, 2015 RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 25th August, 2015, be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair. 35. PLANNING AND OTHER APPLICATIONS RESOLVED that upon consideration of a Schedule of Planning and Other s received, together with the recommendations in respect thereof, the recommendations be approved in accordance with the Schedule hereto and marked Appendix A. 36. ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING RESOLVED that in accordance with Council Procedure Rule 17(l), the meeting stand adjourned at 3.50 p.m. to be reconvened on this day at 3.55 p.m. 37. RECONVENING OF MEETING The meeting reconvened at 3.55 p.m. 38. DURATION OF MEETING In accordance with Council Procedure Rule 33.1, the Committee considered whether it should continue its business as it had been in progress for three hours and all business had not yet been considered. ENFORCEMENT CASES RECEIVED AND CLOSED FOR THE PERIOD 12TH AUGUST TO 7TH SEPTEMBER, 2015 (EXCLUSION PARAGRAPH 6) The Committee considered a report which detailed all Planning Enforcement complaints and cases received, and closed during the period of 12th August to 7th September, In response to Councillor Susan Durant seeking further clarification and expressing her concerns with regard Enforcement Case, 15/00348/M, the Head of Development Management, Richard Purcell, undertook to raise the issue with the relevant Head of Service and request that Councillor Durant be provided with a written response indicating what action was going to be undertaken by the Local Authority to resolve the issue. RESOLVED that the Planning Enforcement Cases received and closed for the period of 12th August to 7th September, 2015, be noted. 3
