At midnight, the ultimate fireworks display will mark the end of the old year and usher in 2019 set against the iconic backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. A ticket for Concert in the Gardens will include a wristband for access to the Street Party. A spectacular sea of light illuminates the winter night, to mark the opening of Edinburgh s New Year celebrations, this year. Blaze through the city accompanied by a cast of pipers and drummers, bear a torch or grab a spot and watch the river of light flow through the heart of Edinburgh. There are lots of ways to take part: you can grab a great spot in Holyrood Park to watch the procession approach its final destination, or why not join the parade as a torch bearer? The procession will have three starting points (St Giles Street, North Bridge and South Bridge) and make its way down the Royal Mile towards Holyrood Park, passing Scottish Parliament and the Palace of Holyrood House for a breathtaking fireworks finale against the backdrop of the majestic Calton Hill. Dookers will march the length of the High Street as part of the Dooker Parade before launching themselves into the freezing Firth of Forth, set against the backdrop of the iconic Forth Bridges, raising money for charities across the UK. Spectators are welcome to cheer on the Dookers at various vantage points along the route or down on the beach. 7 HOW TO BOOK There are a number of ways you can book your Official Edinburgh's Hogmany Travel Package: Option 1 Book online at: You will need to enter your full details, including guest names. We will follow up with your booking confirmation by way of receipt. Choose to pay in full or your deposit online. Our two and three night packages are available online. For extended stays we recommend calling the office. There is no card charge for online bookings. METHODS OF PAYMENT All payments are to be made in UK Sterling. To avoid any fees BACS payments are the most cost effective method of payment. Please always reference your payment with your name and booking reference. We also accept all major credit and debit cards with the exception of American Express and Diners. Full terms and conditions are available on request and also on our website. By booking with us it is assumed you have read and agreed to these. Option 2 Call the office on We can take your booking, answer any questions and process payments. If you would like to extend your stay or have any other special requirements we recommend calling us directly. BOOKING & PAYMENTS Upon receipt of your booking, Glory Days will forward you a written confirmation of your booking. This will summarise your package and outline your final balance due date. Should payments not be received by the nominated date, reservations will be cancelled.
