Renfrew Victory Baths Inchinnan Road, Renfrew, PA4 8ND SAT: HOURLY TOURS FROM This picturesque little church that follows the Anglican tradition has served the people of Renfrew for over 100 years. The church hall has accommodated many groups and organisations and, like the church building itself, offers a warm and friendly welcome to all those who enter its doors. Come and join us for our photographic exhibition spanning 100 years of church history. There will also be past and present robes on display. Trinity Church 13 Paisley Road, Renfrew, PA4 8JH SAT: 10:00-14: W. D. McLennan, This excellent sports facility opened its doors to the public in June 2004 and has become hugely popular with the people of Renfrewshire thanks to its range of sports and leisure facilities which include a four court multi-purpose sports hall, a two-level gym and fitness suite, a dance studio, a football pitch and a sauna and steam-room. Designed and built by Paisley Architect, T.G. Abercrombie, the grade B listed Victory Baths in all their detail and splendour are a particularly fine example of an Edwardian 25 yard swimming pool. The 1920s layout is largely intact with changing cubicles to poolside at ground level, arched doorways and a viewing gallery above with timber seats. Come and experience the great sense of tradition. This is a quaint Gothic church with a belfry and spire. The double transepts and roof structure are indicative of McLennan s architectural idiosyncrasies, and this is the earliest example of his church work.
