2 Brampton St.Ives Magazine Peters Prattling As ever an enjoyable show organised by the sports centre in St.Ives. Not so many bargains to be had this year it seemed to me, although I did come away with a 1/72 nd E-100 tank with a V-1 missile mounted on top of the chassis for a tenner bargain! After a better look inside the box there is also a Rheintochter 1 missile too so I can mix and match the payload. Forthcoming Shows in 2017/2018 Shows with highlight have been booked for us to attend. If you wish to attend any of the shows with the club stand please let me know so I can attempt to book space for the club. Brampton to my mind is one of the must visit shows and although the format is, as with all shows defined by the halls it always has a lot to offer. All the ususal suspects turned up and we all had a good show. Lots of stuff was bought and as for myself I promised to slap myself if I bought another kit (SLAP!) As you know I have a couple of favorites (Not another bloody Spitfire) well I didn t!, however as to the P38 lightning I came across an Acadamy (The best P38s) kit I d never seen. The PR version of the P38 is the F5 and I didn t even know Acadamy did one, a tenner Soolldd!. No Robins not nodding off Chelmsford asked for more table space and got it in the shape of Two large round tables on the balcony Ahh! so now they re the Nits of the round tables.

Now to Norex Magazine I promised myself I wouldn t go again, however after hearing that all the dolls and other stuff had been banished I picked up Wally and off we went to Wivenhoe.

Wivenhoe is on the banks of the River Colne and a nice little place to visit, as to the show it had changed and as I said a lot depends on the hall which is in this case small as below. However there are a couple of smaller rooms and in one I came across a paint remover I d never seen. I m a great fan of Purisol but had a bottle anyway, It s called CLEAN SLATE rmvr 2.0 and at 6.50 for a 200ml bottle is much cheaper than Purisol and works a treat. (perhaps a club night on Stripping (stop giggling you lot)) Allen The Main hall at Norex
