6 I-95 South, Rowland, NC Event Date: 05/11/2012 Joining us for our Tourism Day will be; Charlie Lowry and her Black Water Rising Band (Charlie was on America Idol). We will have Native America singers, drummers, dancers, flutist and featuring a local young man who will be performing with the Lost Colony this summer. We will also feature one of Scotland County s bagpipers. Loretta Locklear will share her pine needle baskets, and Herman Locklear will share pottery. Rowland s antique fire truck, several Old Cars will adorn our area, an old Indian motorcycle, Atkinson Mill, Red Cross, Lumbee River State Park, Museum from Lumberton, Moore s Creek Battlefield, Robeson County Farmer s Market. Wineries including; Cypress Bend, Hinnant, Locklear, LuMil, and Stephens. Our local Planetarium hopes to attend. Each CVB that attends our function will be bringing local hotels from their area. They usually set up as a group from each area. The motels/hotels will be finely represented. We will host CVB s from Robeson County, Cumberland County, Harnett County, Johnston County, Wilson County, Halifax County, Onslow County, Columbus County, New Hanover County, Scotland County.
