Breakfast at leisure in hotel dining room No meetings schedule Walking tour of Fonteverde and San Casciano Dei Bagni: Join other NTI guests on a private walking tour of the Fonteverde Resort and Spa, and the town of San Casciano dei Bagni. A short walk from Fonteverdi is San Casciano dei Bagni, a small town that was awarded the Bandiera Arancione (Orange Flag Recognition of Quality) and Borghi più Belli d Italia (Most Beautiful Medieval Villages in Italy). Known since ancient times for its hot springs, San Casciano fascinates tourists for its untouched environment, woods and stunning landscape, as well as the historical center that reflects its medieval structure. The tour will leave from Fonteverde and arrive in Orvieto where guests will meet local tour guides. The tour will reach the historical city center on the top of the hill through the funicular. The guided tour of Orvieto includes entrance to the stunning Cathedral. A tour escort will accompany the group from/to Fonteverde. There will also be ample time for leisure and shopping. This unique shopping village consists of 140 stores offering 30-70% discounts, located within a lovely outdoor setting. There is a wide range of top international and Italian brands in fashion, lingerie, household goods, footwear and leather goods, jewelry, cosmetics and perfumes. Montalcino Brunello Wine Vineyard Tour, Tasting and Wine Dinner: Experience a wine vineyard and dinner in this tour of Montalcino famous for its Brunello wines. The tour starts with a brief stop in the quaint town of Montalcino. From there, the tour continues to a local wine vineyard producing Brunello, where guests will partake in a wine tasting followed by a Tuscan wine dinner. Discover Val d'orcia, a scenic area in southern Tuscany, world-renowned for its dramatic landscapes, wines (Nobile di Montepulciano), olive oil and cheese (Pecorino di Pienza). The experience includes transportation and tour escrort from/to Fonteverde. The tour begins with arrival in Pienza, a town known for its 15 th Century Renaissance architecture and monuments within its Piazza Pio II. Next the tour continues to the town of Montepulciano, known for its Nobile wine, and considered the Pearl of the Renaissance. Visit the Piazza Grande, which sits on the highest point of the town, offering stunning views below. The Piazza is home to Montepulciano s cathedral and palaces, as well as cozy cafes, wine-tasting rooms, and shops. Guests will have sufficient free time for lunch and shopping in Montepulciano. The tour will conclude with a visit to a farm in the area of Pienza for a cheese and olive oil tasting. Guests will return to the hotel at approximately 7:00pm. Together with our guides you will discover the history of the area and the importance of the vertical cliffs (the tuff) for its development, ancient Etruscan remains, and the history of the and the Jewish community (Pitigliano was named "the little Jerusalem). The tour also includes exploring a portion of Via Cava, an impressive road network carved in tuff that pass through the woods. Tour escort guided tour in Pitigliano and surroundings.
