1 Short profile After 26 months of construction, the OVAVERVA Pool, Spa & Sports Centre had its grand opening on 7 th July The promising project adds value to the entire region with the recreational activities, spa treatments and sports programmes it offers. An attractive range of offers is available to all guests and locals with the OVAVERVA. The tourism industry and the many small hotels who cannot offer their own pool, wellness centre or fitness centre to their guests benefit from this. Whether athletes, families, school groups, hikers, skiers, clubs, old or young everyone will find the right offer in the OVAVERVA. Swimming in the 25-metre pool whenever you want, an outdoor pool with bubble loungers and sun terrace, a learners pool, paddle pool and diving pool as well as a fun tower with slides, a spacious spa, an integrated fitness centre and outdoor centre offering shops for swimwear, casual wear and fitness wear and, last but not least, healthy homemade snacks in the bistro: The OVAVERVA offers all of these things and much, much more. The municipality of St. Moritz made its largest investment in years by donating million Swiss francs to the construction of the new centre that will, however, pay off for the entire region in the long term. Another milestone will now be set in St. Moritz on 5 th and 6 th July 2014: The OVAVERA Pool, Spa & Sports Centre will hold its grand opening celebration and begin operations as the new emblem of the innovativeness and orientation toward the future of the people of St. Moritz on 7 th July 2014.

2 Definition/origin of the name Ova verva is a Romansh term that means vibrant/sparkling water and water plays an important role in the public facility. Offers The indoor pool The spacious swimming landscape (3,200 m 2 total) in the OVAVERVA offers everything that swimmers and water enthusiasts, relaxation-seekers and adrenaline junkies could wish for: A 25-metre pool for comfortable lap swimming or training for competition, a learners pool for beginners and water aerobics, a splash and paddle pool for children and a diving pool with two 1-metre boards and one 3-metre platform. The outdoor pool with bubble loungers and the sun terrace offer relaxation with a magnificent view toward the Maloja Pass. The fun tower with three different water chutes for a total length of 190 metres offers an experience ranging from a gentle slide to a kamikaze drop. The indoor pool is completed with a pool bistro where the hungry and thirsty can find an extensive menu of food and drinks (see The ViV Bistro ). Swimming schools and sports clubs will offer swimming courses and water aerobics, among other things, to visitors of all age groups in the OVAVERVA. The spa The spa is hidden under the roof of the building an intimate, calm and spaciously designed area. Protected from plain sight from outside but with fantastic views out into the vastness of the Upper Engadine landscape. The lounge area is located in the centre, receiving daylight and sunlight from the skylight of the central staircase. The spa has separate changing rooms available and also provides access out of the indoor pool. Various sweat rooms with a hot dry or humid climate can be found in two sauna areas, one of them for women only. Time in the sauna can be followed by wonderful relaxation in the quiet rooms or in the large whirlpool bath. The spa area is completed with a bar where the guests can indulge in small snacks and drinks. 3 Treatments A wide range of applications are offered in six treatment rooms: from classical massage to cosmetic treatments to packages created exclusively for OVAVERVA. A detailed list of all treatments and prices can be found on the website. Product lines OVAVERVA places all of its emphasis on products that are close to nature combined with the latest scientific findings. The treatment and sales products of SOGLIO and Dermalogica are used. The SOGLIO line contains high-quality skincare and body care products. SOGLIO products are refined from raw materials from the Bregaglia mountains. These include the herbs planted in Soglio (Bregaglia) and collected from uncontrolled growth SOGLIO obtains the rest of the materials it needs from other organic farmers in Switzerland. The sheep whey comes from farms in the Prättigau valley. One very special project regulates the goat butter oil procurement from Alpine operations in the Valser valley. For SOGLIO, the special aspect begins with its relationship to the raw material. Character and origin are important to them. Dermalogica products are a modern synthesis of the latest scientific findings and philosophies that are tried and tested. They contain no pore-clogging mineral oil or lanolin, no irritating artificial colours or fragrances and no denatured alcohol or formaldehyde that will dry out your skin. All ingredients come from ecologically sound sources and the packaging is completely recyclable. No animals are used in any of the tests, a policy that has already been in place since The specially developed Face Mapping skin analysis guarantees that everyone will find the right type of care. Operational aspects The two profit centres of the indoor swimming pool and spa in the OVAVERVA are operated by the municipality of St. Moritz in order to cover a gap in the offers for sport and recreational activities. One important aspect in the operating concept is the development of cooperation with other companies offering recreational activities in the Upper Engadine such as the public Bellavita Erlebnisbad & Spa (pool & spa) in Pontresina, mountain railways, hotel and non-hotel accommodation, sports associations and clubs. Local and very skilled tenants were obtained for the three profit centres of the fitness centre, outdoor sports centre and restaurant: The fitness centre Your health is your greatest asset GUT TRAINING! - This motto also applies in the new integrated fitness centre on about 600 m 2. The fitness area is operated by the professional team of GUT TRAINING ST. MORITZ. The proven specialists have been providing for training, fitness and health in the Engadine since 1996 and will now be offering diverse options for getting or staying fit in a variety of ways at its new location in the OVAVERVA. 4 The outdoor centre & shop Cross-country skiing and other outdoor activities have a long tradition in the Upper Engadine. A wide range of attractive outdoor sports activities from cross-country skiing to biking tours will be provided by Suvretta Sports St. Moritz in cooperation with Crystal Events GmbH. Suvretta Sports also offers professional consultation, sales and rental as well as a repair service with a focus on cycling in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. An integrated shop offers clothing and equipment for various types of sports. During the winter season there is also a Nordic shop and rental centre available in addition to the services offered by the Schweizer Langlaufschule St. Moritz (St. Moritz Swiss Cross-Country Ski School). The ViV Bistro ViV stands for commitment to quality, healthy nutrition and homemade products. The OVAVERVA bistro is open to the public and places an emphasis on many homemade and regional dishes. Everything on the menu is also available for take-away to enjoy at home. The bistro offers room for 90 people in the indoor area and 40 people on the terrace. OVAVERVA guests can enjoy the full menu in their bathing suits indoors or outdoors in a separate area (pool bistro).
