The name OVAVERVA has been derived from Reto-Romansh and can be roughly translated as lively, sparkling water.

OVAVERVA Spa For complete relaxation, it s well worth a visit to the spacious wellness zone (1,620 square metres), which is equipped with various saunas and steam baths, plus several relaxation rooms and separate spa facilities for ladies. Here, special features include the central zone with a navel stone, a large whirlpool with a wonderful view of the mountains, and a relaxation room with walls made of salt stone, which creates a pleasant and healthy atmosphere.

The centre is managed by Suvretta Sports and offers top quality cycling activities during the summer and crosscountry skiing in the winter. Its fully qualified personnel also provide professional advice plus a repairs service. A variety of activities, including crosscountry skiing courses, cycling tours and snowshoe hiking, can be booked at the Activity Desk. In the integrated sports shop you will find everything you need for cycling and cross-country skiing, including rental equipment and a comprehensive range of clothing for all forms of sporting and outdoor activity, as well as swimwear.

10 Gut Training Gut Training fitness centre The centre is managed by Gut Training St Moritz, which is widely regarded as the best provider of activities in Engadine for fitness, bodybuilding and performance analysis. The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and offers a broad range of group fitness, endurance and muscle training programmes, as well as performance analyses. Its highly qualified personnel provide professional advice, and also offer personal training programmes. The fitness centre at OVAVERVA encompasses 600 square metres and offers a comprehensive range of training programmes.

13 Forum Paracelsus Ancient spa culture The source, which yields carbonated water containing iron, was well known to and highly praised by Pope Leo X and naturopath Paracelsus in the Middle Ages. MTZ Heilbad St Moritz is a historic therapeutic spa that still exists today and offers a comprehensive range of treatments. The recently restored Paracelsus Forum presents the history of mineral springs in St Moritz with the aid of audio terminals and touch screens. The spa culture in St Moritz has a lengthy tradition that can be traced back as far as 1400 BC. Visitors can sample the St Moritz spring water from the drinking fountain, and the Mauritius source intake dating from the Bronze Age is on display behind glass as the centrepiece of the museum.
