2 BEHIND THE SUCCESS Board of Directors A Message from the Board of Directors This year 2018 marks Fook Lai s 11 th Anniversary and it gives us great pride to say that we have done a long way since our humble beginnings. From a staff head count of 20, we have in our employ today 263 staff. The contract value of our projects to-date is estimated at more than RM200 million. All our projects have been completed satisfactorily and ahead of schedule. In a period of 11 years, FL has grown from strength to strength but we could not have done it without the backbone of the company our people. So we would like to say a big thank you to all of you for your hard work, your loyalty and your belief in FL. Keep up the good work and we look forward to another successful 11 years. Funding was raised by contribution from all the members and is voluntarily given to the workers welfare and charity organization. Fook Lai Construction & Development Sdn. Bhd. (Co. No V) was incorporated on 7 October 2005 and is a UPKJ Class A and CIDB Grade 7 licenses contractor with ISO 9001:2008 certified contractor. Our activity is construction and property development with special emphasis on government, commercial and individual projects.

5 B A L I N G I A N S U B S T A T I O N Balingian 275kV Substation Establishment which consists of design and construction of 1 unit of 275kV control building, switchyard foundation, cable trenches, drainage, fence, premix road, laying od subsoil pipe and gravel topping works. S I M I L A J A U S U B S T A T I O N Extension of existing 275kV Substation which consists of design and construction for capacitor bank foundation, switchyard foundation, cable trenches, drainage, fence, premix road, laying of subsoil pipe and gravel topping. J A L A N B R U I T Construction of a gravel road of 8km to link the Kampung Penyuai up to Kampung Salah Kecil at Pulau Bruit. Total of 2 steel bridges and 12 culverts are constructed along the RC drain. J A L A N K A Y A N G / K P G. P A S A N G / K P G. A S O M / K P G. B E N G O H Construction of premix road of 3km to link both Kampung Asom and Kampung Parang at Puncak Borneo area. Total of 2 concrete bridges and 11 culverts are constructed along the RC drain

The project scope of works are as per listed below: Piling Works 275kV & 33kV Control Building Outdoor Foundation, Cable Trench, Transformer Plinth with Bund Wall and Oil Interceptor Infrastructure Works (Road Work, Drainage, Gravel Topping, Fencing and Gate) SEJINGKAT 132/33kV SUBSTATION REINFORCEMENT WORKS, KUCHING, SARAWAK This project is construction for extension of existing Sejingkat 132/33kV Substation. Our scope of works consists of: Construction of 33Kv Control Building Construction of Switchyard Foundation (4 bays) Construction of Cable Trenches Construction of Infrastructure

9 CADANGAN NAIK TARAF KUARTERS DAN BALAI BOMBA, BINTULU, SARAWAK This project is located at Park City area, Bintulu town. The scope of works are renovation works to the existing Balai Bomba Office, new 8 th storey quarters, 1 block of surau and infrastructure works which are to be completed by January TUDAN 275KV SUBSTATION RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, MIRI, SARAWAK Site is located at Miri Town area. The project scope of works are as per listed below: Demolition of Existing 275kV Switchyard & Store Building Site Clearing and Sand Filling Works Piling Works 275kV & 33kV Control Building and Associated External Works New Store Building Enhance Fire Fighting System to Existing Control Building 275kV & 132kV Switchyard (Outdoor foundation, cable trenches, transformer plinth and oil interceptor.) Infrastructure Works Building M&E Services
