Thus, vehicles from our lodge cannot be any longer guaranteed for safaris but a vehicle from the day s roster from the common pool for vehicles will be used for the activity. Though this change is being challenged in the courts there has been no conclusion on the lawsuit yet. On Wednesdays, afternoon game drives are not operational in Madhya Pradesh Parks as per government regulations. Optional activities are offered to our guests at the lodge which they can take when they arrive at the lodge.

5 ENTRY/VISA REQUIREMENTS As for all international travel, the visitor to India is required to be in possession of a valid passport and visa. Travellers from all countries need a visa. Enquire about this from the Indian diplomatic Representatives abroad OR apply online at Boarding or immigration can be denied if there is a mismatch of passport details mentioned on the visa letter issued by the Government of India and the passport presented at these checks. The passport has to be valid for a minimum of 6 months AFTER the departure date from India and at least 2 (two) clear pages available in the passport for immigration stamping. SATELLITE PHONES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN INDIA The Government of India has banned the use of Satellite Phones across the country - it is a criminal offence to be in possession of such a phone and use of the same as well in India.

6 Day 1- New Delhi On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel The Taj Mahal. One of the most distinguished addresses in the national capital, The Taj Mahal Hotel is located in the exclusive residential area of Lutyens Delhi, close to the seat of government. Reflecting the heritage of Mughal Delhi, this hotel offers graceful architecture with modern facilities. The hotel is a city landmark, centrally located, in close proximity to key areas. It is a 40-minute drive from the airport and near the bustling city center, Connaught Place. Check in time is of 1400 hrs / Day 1. Spend two nights at The Taj Mahal Hotel. Accommodation is in a Deluxe Room with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis.

7 Day 2 - New Delhi At a time of your convenience, the day is kept for guided sightseeing of Old and New Delhi which includes: Chandni Chowk - Take a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk which was once the grandest of markets in India. Even though today Chandni Chowk appears choked with congestion, it retains its historical character. Jama Masjid - The Jama Masjid of Delhi, is the principal mosque of Old Delhi in India. Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj Mahal, and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is the largest and best-known mosque in India. It lies at the origin of a very busy central street of Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk. Later proceed on a walking tour, The narrow gullies of Old Delhi narrate many stories through the overwhelming variety of street food that they offer. Enjoy a Rickshaw ride which will go through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. If you wish the guide can take you to a nice restaurant where you can have lunch (on direct payment basis) After the lunch break with the same guide your sightseeing will continue in New Delhi. This will include: Drive through Lutyen s Delhi, driving past Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate and the Old Secretariat. Humayun s Tomb: Humayun's tomb is a complex of buildings built as the Mughal Emperor Humayun's tomb, commissioned by Humayun's wife Hamida Banu Begum in It was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent and is located in Nizamuddin East. It was also the first structure to use red sandstone at such a scale. The complex was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Qutub Minar: The Qutub Minar, a tower in Delhi, India, is at 72.5 meters the world's tallest brick minaret. Construction commenced in 1193 under the orders of India's first Muslim ruler Qutab-ud-din Aibak. The Qutab Minar is notable for being one of the earliest and most prominent examples of Indo-Islamic architecture. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

8 Day 3 Delhi / Raipur / Kanha National Park Today, you will be met and chauffeured to Delhi airport (with packed breakfast) to connect flight for Raipur. On arrival in Raipur, you will be met by your driver and chauffeured for about 4 hrs to Kanha National Park. Kanha National Park has ideal habitat for tigers and their prey species. Prime tiger wilderness, it was one of the first areas to be protected under Project Tiger and is one of the largest conservation areas today. Lush Sal and bamboo forests are insterspersed with vast grassy meadows while the Banjaar river forms the southwestern border of the park and provides a steady water source for the abundant wildlife. On arrival in Kanha, check into your lodge Banjaar Tola. Overlooking the lush forests and grassy meadows of Kanha National Park, at Banjaar Tola Kanha Tented Camp you are one with the environment. Admire stunning river views from the privacy of your own veranda or share the experiences of the day on dramatic decks facing the Banjaar River. Time permitting; enjoy afternoon game drive inside Kanha National Park in a shared jeep. Spend three nights at Banjaar Tola Jungle Lodge. Accommodation is in a Luxury Tent with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on full board basis (cycle of 3 meals a day i.e. breakfast; lunch & dinner) including scheduled game drives by shared jeeps.

9 Day 4 & 5 Kanha National Park Explore the jungles of Kanha National Park on early morning and evening game drives by shared jeeps. Explore the sal and bamboo forests of Kanha National Park on early morning and afternoon game drives in an open 4x4 safari vehicle. One of our specially trained naturalists will accompany you throughout, pointing out and explaining details about the fascinating animals and plants of the jungle. Your early morning drive enters the park as the dawn is breaking over the jungle. Explore the meadows, or maidans, where scores of grazing herbivores attract tiger, leopard and wild dog to the edges of the clearings. On an afternoon drive, the wildlife is settling down for the night or having a final drink at the Banjaar River or the many perennial streams that run through the park. Watch out for the elusive leopard and listen to the calling of jackal getting ready for the hunt. Day 6 Kanha / Bandhavgarh National Park Following your jungle safari and lunch, a drive of approximately 6 hours will take you to Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh is an exceptional national park and boasts of one of India's highest concentration of tigers. An essential stop on any serious tiger safari. A relatively small park with a thriving tiger population, it offers guests a good chance of encountering the king of the jungle as well as a selection of other interesting central Indian flora and fauna. Cradled between the picturesque Vindhya and Satpura ranges Bandhavgarh has a breathtaking mixture of dense green valleys and rocky hills. On arrival, check into your lodge Mahua Kothi. Guests in search of an authentic jungle experience won't be disappointed at Mahua Kothi Bandhavgarh Jungle Lodge, where just 12 kutiyas scattered around an original homestead disappear into the bamboo fronds. Given over to natural forest, the vast grounds create a park-like atmosphere that guests are free to explore on bicycles invitingly parked in the private courtyards of their jungle suites. Spend three nights at Mahua Kothi Jungle Lodge. Accommodation is in Air Conditioned Luxury Cottage with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on full board basis (cycle of 3 meals a day i.e. breakfast; lunch & dinner) including scheduled game drives by shared jeeps.

10 Day 7 & 8 Bandhavgarh National Park Explore the jungles of Bandhavgarh National Park on early morning and evening game drives. Park drives take place early morning and afternoon in Bandhavgarh in open 4x4 jeeps. This park is largely composed of Sal forests in the valleys and on the lower slopes, gradually combining with mixed deciduous forests on the hills and in the drier areas of the park. The wide valleys along the streams carry long linear grasslands flanked by Sal forests. Pockets of dense bamboo thickets are a favourite spot for the striped beauty. In addition to the wonderful wildlife and birdlife, Bandhavgarh has some extraordinary history. The Bandhavgarh Fort encompassing a 560-acre plateau with cliffs of up to 240m (800 ft) dominates the park. The fort has large tanks (waterbodies) carved out of the volcanic rock, and ruined 11th to 12th century temples. At the base of the fort are a series of manmade caves, once the retreat of ascetics, and now the home to bats and other wildlife. Day 9 Bandhavgarh / Panna National Park Following your jungle safari and lunch, a drive of about 4 hrs will take you to Panna National Park. One of the most pristine, tranquil and beautiful of India's wilderness areas, Panna National Park is the ideal place to escape to for serene appreciation of the country's sheer natural beauty. It is today the country's northernmost natural teak forest. The diverse landscape of gorges, plateaus, forests and the majestic Ken River creates surprises around every bend. Panna Tiger Reserve is well known for it's succesful tiger conservation programme where the tiger population was taken from zero to 24 in the span of four years through a methodical rehabilitation programme. Although tiger sightings are scarce here, it is home to five other species of cat - Leopard, jungle cat, leopard cat, rusty spotted cat and caracal. Hyenas, wild dogs, wolves and foxes are also found here. On arrival, check into your lodge Pashangarh. Taj Safaris jungle safari lodge comprises a cluster of stone cottages huddled atop a small hill, with magnificent views over the forest and a large nearby waterhole, which has been host to numerous tiger and resident antelope sightings. Spend two nights at Pashan Garh Panna Wilderness Lodge. Accommodation is in Stone Cottage with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on full board basis (cycle of 3 meals a day i.e. breakfast, lunch & dinner) including scheduled game drives by shared jeeps.

11 Day 10 Panna National Park Experience scheduled morning & afternoon game drive at the Panna National Park by shared jeeps Explore the teak forests of Panna National Park on early morning and afternoon game drives in an open 4x4 safari vehicle. One of our specially trained naturalists will accompany you throughout, pointing out and explaining details about the fascinating animals and plants of the jungle. Your early morning drive enters the park as the dawn is breaking over the jungle. Venture in search of the sloth bear, wild dog, sambar deer and other wildlife. On an afternoon drive, the wildlife is settling down for the night or having a final drink at the Ken River. Watch out for the elusive leopard and listen to the calling of jackal getting ready for the hunt. Day 11 Panna / Khajuraho / Delhi After an early breakfast you will be met and driven for about 1½ hrs to Khajuraho. A small village in the rural depths of Madhya Pradesh, Khajuraho is an unlikely setting for a World Heritage Site. Yet it is here that some of the most beautiful temples in India, containing examples of the finest temple art in the world, rise above the jungle. Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Vindhya Hills, the great temple complex that has made Khajuraho famous features intricately carved buildings dating back to between the 10th and 12th centuries.

12 On arrival in Khajuraho you will be taken for short guided sightseeing of Western Group of Chandela Temples. Originally a group of 80 temples of which about 25 remain today, the temples of Khajuraho fall into three distinct groups and belong to two different religions - Hinduism and Jainism. The temples strike a perfect balance between architecture & sculpture and represent the expression of a highly matured civilization. After spending some time at the Western Group of Chandela Temples, you will be chauffeured to Khajuraho airport to board your flight for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and chauffeured to your hotel Oberoi Hotel. Spend one night at The Oberoi Hotel. Accommodation is in a Premier Room with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis. Day 12 Delhi / Agra Today a drive of about 3 hrs will take you to Agra. The city of Agra flourished under the patronage of the emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan and attracted artisans from Persia and central Asia. Agra is where Emperor Shah Jahan engraved his immortal love for his Empress in marble, the Taj Mahal. Agra is still famous for handicrafts products such as inlay work on marble, carpets, jewellery, zari and embroidery work. On arrival you will be met and assisted to check into your hotel The Oberoi Amarvilas. The hotel is located 600 meters from the Taj Mahal and all the rooms, suites, lobby, bar and lounge offer breathtaking views of the monument. Built in a style inspired by Moorish and Mughal architecture, the resort takes you back to an era of Emperors and Princes. An interlude at The Oberoi Amarvilas is truly unforgettable.

13 Later you will be taken for guided sightseeing of Agra which includes: Agra Fort - The red sandstone Agra Fort was renovated and converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time, and reworked extensively with marble and pietra dura inlay. Notable buildings in the fort include the Pearl Mosque, the Diwan-e-Am and Diwan-e-Khas (halls of public and private audience), Jehangir's Palace, Khaas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal (mirrored palace), and Musamman Burj. Taj Mahal to view it by sunset. Said to be one of the most elegant and a harmonious building in the world, Taj Mahal is the manifestation of the wealth and luxury of Mughal art as seen in its architecture, garden design, painting, and calligraphy. Spend one night at The Oberoi Amarvilas. Accommodation is in Premier Room with ensuite facilities. Your stay is on bed & breakfast basis. Day 13 Agra / Departure Delhi This morning you again will be taken for guided sightseeing of Taj Mahal to view it by sunrise. Return to hotel for breakfast and some rest followed by another drive of about 4 hrs to Delhi where on arrival you straightaway will be taken to Delhi international airport to board your flight back to home or onward destination. Note: You need to be at Delhi international airport atleast 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure of your flight.

Photography During Travel A. &Beyond reserves the right to take photographs or video during the operation of any program or part thereof and to use them for promotional purposes during the program and thereafter. By booking a program with &Beyond, guests agree to allow their images to be used in such photographs. Guests who prefer that their images not be used are asked to identify themselves to &Beyond representative at the beginning of their program. Guest Obligations: 1. Medical Conditions the guest must notify &Beyond of any pre-existing medical conditions that might reasonably be expected to affect the Travel Arrangements. The guest agrees and acknowledges that &Beyond will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by the guest as a result of any pre-existing medical condition or health issue of the Customer that may preclude, delay, affect or interfere with the Travel Arrangements. 2. Health Issues It is the guests sole responsibility to a) obtain any vaccinations or take any other health precautions applicable to the country of travel;

17 b) take all steps reasonably necessary (including, without limitation, the consultation of appropriate medical professionals) to identify whether they have any pre-existing medical conditions or health issues (whether known or unknown) that may preclude, delay, affect or interfere with the Travel Arrangements; and c) notify &Beyond if the guest has any pre-existing medical conditions or health issues that may preclude, delay, affect or interfere with the Travel Arrangements.
