7 COBB COUNTY TAXES Retail Sales: 6 percent Hotel: 8 percent HIGHWAY SYSTEM I-75 North/South runs through the county. I-285, which circles Atlanta, curves through southeastern Cobb. I-20 East/West passes through the southern tip of the county. Interstate 575 runs north from I-75. Surface streets such as U.S. 41, U.S. 78, Barrett Parkway and the East- West Connector make moving around the county an easy task. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Cobb County Transit (CCT) provides bus service throughout the county and is the one bus route that connects to the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), Atlanta s public transportation service. CCT MARTA FARE Local one-way fare for CCT is $2.50. All passengers are required to use a Breeze Card to transfer free from CCT to MARTA. ROUTES To view a map of CCT bus routes, visit dot.cobbcountyga.gov/ cct.htm. Routes are also posted in all buses. If you need help mapping your route, call a CCT customer service representative or ask the driver.
