Stetson University College of Law is able to arrange for special rates for student housing during the program due to the number of rooms involved, and the length of our stay. The College of Law will not arrange for you to stay for additional nights before, or after, the program. You are free to contact the hotel to make your own arrangements. However, you will be responsible for any additional charges, and you should be aware that the rates may be higher than those available during the program. Payment of Housing Accommodations You are charged for your housing in Euros, although payment needs to be made to Stetson in U.S. dollars. On May 1, the balance of your housing account will be converted to U.S. dollars. You may pay the converted amount by check, cash, or money order payable to Stetson University College of Law. If your housing payment is not received before May 15 (financial aid normally arrives by that time), Stetson will bill your account using the May 1st U.S. dollars balance. Note: keep in mind that you have to pay a $100 housing deposit before April 1st in order to reserve a spot. Then, once you confirm your reservation with Kristen Cohen in the International Programs Office (kcohen@law.stetson.edu), you are responsible for the remaining housing charges.

2 The College of Law has arranged accommodations at four different buildings in Granada, which are all close to one another. Hostal Costa Azul offers single, double and triple rooms, each with a private bathroom. The Anexo offers double and triple rooms with private bathrooms. Apartamentos Turisticos Costal Azul are fully-equipped apartments. Ms. Marisa Ogea administers all of them. Please find below the descriptions of each building, as well as the various rates. HOSTAL COSTA AZUL Hostal Costa Azul ( is the first hostal in Spain receiving, not only the ISO 9001 and quality certifications, but also the Q award from the tourism industry. For more information, visit: nada/333393/hostal/costa/azul/hace/hi storia.html The hostal was founded by Jesús Ogea in It is a beautiful 3 story house, built in the early 1900's, around a central patio showcasing a fountain amidst beautiful plants. It is located in the very heart of Granada in the San Matias neighborhood, at walking distance from the Ayuntamiento, monuments, museums, tapa bars, restaurants, and the commercial zone called Alcaicería or Zoco Árabe.

3 The hostal has remained in the family and is currently managed by Doña Encarna Bermudez and her daughters, Marisa and Encarna Ogea. Hostal Costa Azul has lots of character with a variety of recently-renovated rooms that differ in size and styles. While some are equipped with only one bed, others have up to three. They are all equipped with a t.v., and include a bathroom and Wifi access. DOUBLE ROOMS: 565 Euros in total per person (2 students) TRIPLE ROOMS: 508 Euros in total per person (3 students) DOUBLE FOR INDIVIDUAL USE: 950 Optional Laundry Service: You may make arrangements with Ms. Marisa Ogea to obtain laundry service during your stay at Hostal Costa Azul. The service will include a weekly pick up of your clothes, and includes washing, ironing and returning them to your room. Prices are per garment. THE ANEXO The Anexo offers various types of rooms. Below is a description of each room, along with its rate(s). Each apartment has Wifi. The optional laundry service (that is listed above under Hostal Costa Azul) is also available to those staying at the Anexo. 4 THE APARTAMENTOS TURISTICOS COSTA AZUL This is a new five-floor building located in downtown Granada with four one-bedroom apartments on each floor. Each apartment is fully equipped including a microwave, sofa bed and TV.
