Tintswalo Atlantic The Environment Tintswalo Atlantic is situated only a pebbles, throw from the majestic shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the only boutique hotel within the Table Mountain National Park. The Park is recognised globally for its extraordinarily rich, diverse and unique fauna and flora. The Presidential Suite has a spacious lounge with fire place as well as a large veranda area. These areas are suitable to convert to either cinema or boardroom style for up to 12 delegates. Refreshment breaks can be taken on the private deck with majestic views. Break Away Areas - Description The Pool Deck- Surrounded by a back drop of fynbos and Atlantic Pebble Beach, the heated pool area can be utilised for relaxation, light finger lunches, high tea or sunset cocktail hour. The Main Lounge and Restaurant Area - Every dish from Tintswalo Atlantic s 5-star menu reveals our passion and love for fine dining. 5 We offer a private exclusive conference area in the luxury lounge of the private Elba & Corsica luxury suites. Morning Arrival: Early arrival to a light finger-breakfast, a full day conference which includes a buffet lunch and two tea breaks, sunset canapés and a three course plated dinner. Conference delegates then retire for the night in one of our beautiful Island Suites. Enjoy a lovely breakfast before departure the following morning. Midday Arrival: Arrive at lunch time for a selection of light finger-snacks, followed by a half day conference. Enjoy sunset canapés and a three course dinner, and a luxurious overnight stay in an Island Suite. Upon waking up, join your team for a decadent breakfast in the dining room, followed by a successful half day conference with one mid-morning tea break. A delicious buffet lunch is served on the deck, before departure. Evening Arrival: Arrive in the early evening and enjoy sunset canapés and a three course plated dinner, before retiring to one of our gorgeous Island Suites. Wake up the following morning to a scrumptious breakfast on the deck, a full day conference including a buffet lunch and two tea breaks. Enjoy one last sunset cocktail before departing. Guided Nature Walks Chapmans Peak Summit Duration: 3 Hour round trip. East Fort Trail Duration: 1.5 Hour Hout Bay to Sandy Bay This is a wonderful walk that will treat you to amazing, panoramic views of Hout Bay and Sandy Bay, taking you along the scenic Rocket Road to De Oude Schif and from one scenic bay to another. Duration: 3hrs hours walking. Winelands Tour The Constantia Winelands region is a breathtakingly beautiful area and home to the oldest vineyards in the country. Enjoy wine tasting, walking, culinary pleasures and history. A tour can be arranged to suite the groups tastes and requests. Adventure Tours We partner with an Activity Butler who can arrange everything from Stand Up Paddle Boarding to Surfing to Rock Climbing. Please let us know what you have in mind in order for us to assist with arrangements. 6

7 Canon Firing East Fort is the Trust s flagship project. Many of Cape Town s residents are aware of its presence as they have driven past it on Chapman s Peak Drive, but relatively few know much about it who built it and why. It was built before South Africa s Cape Colony existed and it is an International Heritage Site. In 1795 it was occupied by the British who extensively upgraded it. Over the years it has progressively decayed. However the Trust has restored the guns and Hout Bay can now boast custody of the Oldest Working Battery of Original Guns in the world. As a team building activity delegates will have the honoured opportunity to assist the artillery men with the firing of these beautiful old canons. Deep Sea Fishing Fish in areas like Cape Point and Robben Island for Yellowtail and the aggressive Cape Snoek, or spend the day with experienced skippers catching up to 100kgs of tuna. A day in the deep exposes you not only to world class fishing but also to the diverse eco system it hosts, from dolphins and Southern Right whales, to Albatross and Pintado Petrels. The boats are well appointed and offer all the creature comforts necessary for entertaining delegates. Vintage Side Car Adventure Have your breath taken away on a half day adventure with a difference. Ride in a Vintage World War II Motor Cycle & Sidecar for 2 passengers and 1 guide/driver per motorbike. Horse Riding - The Dunes at Noordhoek Beach The world s most beautiful beach rides on Noordhoek Beach. Water Sports, Scuba or Snorkeling (Seasonal) Enquire about the different activities available. 7

9 The Island Suites From the air conditioning, under floor heating and heated towel rails, to the wood-burning fireplaces and the Atlantic Ocean literally breaking at the base of the lodge, Tintswalo Atlantic is one-of-a-kind in the world. All suites are linked to the main lodge by a raised boardwalk and are built out of wood to ensure harmony with the surrounding fynbos and mountains. Each of the ten luxury suites are individually decorated to mirror the personality of ten beautiful Islands of the World, ensuring each guest a unique experience. Spacious, well-appointed en suite bathrooms with double vanities, extra spacious showers and baths facing the magnificent views of The Atlantic. The bedrooms all have dramatic chandeliers hanging above over-sized beds. Enjoy your private deck and sounds of the ocean in summer, and cosy interiors and private fireplaces crackling with warmth during the winter months. Every suite is afforded the same hypnotising view, that of the magnificent Sentinel across the bay, and the vast Atlantic Ocean beyond. Tintswalo Atlantic provides an environment that offers a time for stillness, creativity and reflection in total privacy. The 2-Bedroom Luxury Suite This suite welcomes guests with a spacious foyer, which leads off to two separate full bedroom suites and a central shared lounge, which is often used as a private meeting space or can be coverted into a conference facility. This luxury suite is more exclusive and private and is elevated above the lodge and other suites. A large expanded private deck stretches along the whole suite, where guests can enjoy the magnificence of the Sentinel mountain and ocean view from this higher elevation. Room service can be arranged where guests can enjoy private dining on the private deck. 9

10 Conference Cancellation Policy Cancellations are only effective on receipt of written notification thereof. If payment is not received in accordance with our payment policy below we reserve the right to cancel the booking and the guest/tour operator/agent will be advised of this by fax or . All cancellations will be subject to this policy. Conference Payment Policy A conference or function booking is only confirmed if a 20% non-refundable deposit is taken by Reservations. The balance of the booking must be paid in full 30 days prior to the conference or function, and a credit card authorisation form must be completed by the client for all extras charged on the day. Should the guests depart without settling their bill in full, reservations will inform the client that their credit card details shall be used to process the payment. Reception will a copy of the invoice to the client after processing the payment. Should the client settle the bill prior to departure and there is nothing outstanding on their account the credit card authorisation form must be returned to the guest. 10
