1 Media Fact File Jumeirah Frankfurt Hotel Overview Located in the heart of the city at the Thurn-and-Taxis-Platz - and connected to the shopping centre MyZeil - Jumeirah Frankfurt is within walking distance of the popular Zeil shopping street, the prestigious Goethestrasse and the city s financial district. 2 Editorial Inspiration 1) Bees at Jumeirah Frankfurt Since its opening in August 2011, Jumeirah Frankfurt is home to honey bees located in four bee hives on the hotel s roof on the 28 th floor. With an ability to fly up to three km, the honey bees can find a large variety of plants and flowers in the vicinity of the hotel such as on the embankment of the river Main or the botanical garden Palmengarten. The beekeeper visits the property on average once a week in spring and summer to collect honey from the honeycomb. Guests can taste the honey directly from the honeycomb each day at the breakfast buffet - or even buy a jar of skyline honey to take home as a souvenir. The Jumeirah Skyline Honey is also used for the Skyline Honey treatment in Talise Spa and in cocktails at Ember Bar & Lounge. 2) Art at Jumeirah Frankfurt Let us take you on a poetic visual journey with the pictures painted by the German artist Hartwig Ebersbach at Jumeirah Frankfurt. In each room as well as in the hotel s public areas, you can find one of the Leipzig artist s large-size original paintings, the largest collection worldwide. Central themes in the artworks are dreams, tales and legends. All pieces of art at Jumeirah Frankfurt are part of the so-called Kaspar series which Mr Ebersbach uses to call attention to the changes in society. Kaspar narrates the stories in lieu of the artist and symbolizes the controversy between seriousness and humour. Although all motive might be depicted more than once, each work of art is unique. Manner of painting: Modelling the paint with brushes, hands and feet which creates the high level of expressivity. 3) Technology With its state-of-the-art equipment throughout the hotel, Jumeirah Frankfurt takes hoteltechnology to the next level. Instead of the conventional air-conditioning technology, the hotel features a hybrid room tempering system using body heat detectors and motion sensors that regulate all in-room energy consumption efficiently and sustainably. Lighting and climate control in rooms and suites can be controlled by the guests via a programmable room management system, specifically tailored to the requirements of Jumeirah Frankfurt, while elevators with destination control system and in-room media hubs complete the technological facilities.

3 Structure and Exterior Design The master developer of the mixed-use complex is MAB Development and Meyer Bergmann. Architects of Jumeirah Frankfurt are KSP Engel und Zimmermann in Frankfurt. Peter Silling & Associates hotel interior design HDI are responsible for the interior design of Jumeirah Frankfurt. With its glass curtain wall, the hotel tower stretches over 96 meters and 25 floors and occupies a spacious 22,000 m 2. Together with the adjacent office tower, the shopping centre MyZeil (designed by Massimiliano Fuksas) and the re-construction of the Baroque Thurn-und-Taxis-Palais, Jumeirah Frankfurt forms the PalaisQuartier. Guest Rooms and Suites Jumeirah Frankfurt offers 218 guestrooms and suites. The interior design from Peter Silling & Associates Hotel Interior Design HID is crisp and sophisticated, with spacious guestrooms and suites with large windows and open plan layouts to maximise the city vistas. The guestrooms display a warm and restful colour palette of walnut, honey and nutmeg, with natural materials such as timber floors, silk carpets, and original artwork from German artist Hartwig Ebersbach in all rooms and suites; while striking materials are featured in the public areas. The open bathrooms are spacious and offer a bathtub and a stand-alone mosaic rain shower. All rooms and suites are equipped with the latest technical facilities, a media hub with a selection of international electrical outlets, in-room entertainment & information tablet, a coffee machine, Bose SoundDock and a 42-inch Widescreen Interactive HD LCD TV. The entry room category (Deluxe room), located on floors 6 to 25, have an average size of 35 m². There are also 49 suites in the hotel; they include a 105 m² Senator Suite as well as a 200 m² Presidential suite, located on the 24 th floor, featuring two bedrooms, a private workspace, a private sauna and views over the Frankfurt financial district.
