2 Romanian Team s Memories Andrei Mosescu about Crete The project was very interesting and well done, I had much to learn from the first day when the Greek partners staged a show of folk dance and they wished us a warm welcome, in the same day I could learn more about their history and traditions from the projects prepared by them, but I had the pleasure to eat traditional dishes at the table organized by them, at the end of the day we visited the city. In the second day of the project we visited two ancient towns of the island, Chania and Rethimnon which had a gorgeous architecture and historical importance because of the old buildings that have been perfectly preserved. Also I had the pleasure of visiting a big part of the island in the third day, the first stop was at the Knossos palace, where I learned some interesting things about the legend of the Minotaur, the tour took us at many historical sites on the island. The fourth day amounted to the previous day expectations, we find out new things about all the participating countries and about their traditional dishes. The last day was the saddest as well because it was the last day when we were all together... We visited the port of Heraklion, the historic area of the city, where we could relax and admire the old port architecture. Overall I was pleased to participate in this project because I was able to learn new things, to make friends and i am happy to say that i still keep in touch with them. Every day spent with these people was wonderful. All the things that I learned from them such as how to prepare some traditional dishes, many words in Greek and Turkish, and many things about their daily routine, all of it is my personal gain.

3 Romanian Team s Memories Cristian Ciornei about Crete Erasmus. Seven letters, one simple word. Simple at first sight, but once you start to grasp its meaning it suddenly becomes much more. You can read about it, ask questions about it, but no matter what source of information you find, none will tell you this: the best description you re going to get is the one you will be able to give after being part of an Erasmus team. As I can only speak for myself I will try to summarize what this project meant to me. First of all it means opportunity, to meet new people and to gain experience and experiences. Secondly, it involves one key element in terms of progress: cooperation. Getting to know not only what makes us different from one another, but also what common elements can be found so we can join our strengths and compensate our weaknesses together. There are many, many words that can be used to describe the whole initiative, but the one that stands out the most and which undoubtedly comes first into my mind every time I think about it is different. Why? Because that is what the project is. It brings innovation to a rather old concept: communication. It was, by far, the most complete project I have been a part of and I could not say otherwise right now. It wasn t perfect, but it was imperfect in a manner that made you forget about the imperfections. For me, it was a precious addition to my growing list of experiences which will definitely shape my character.

4 Romanian Team s Memories Monica Nedelcu about Crete My second experience Erasmus + took place in Herakleion, Greece. I had the chance to enjoy a rich activities programme which included many trips to national and international tourist attractions as well as learning activities hosted by 4th High School, GEL HERAKLEIOU. The Greek Team Manager, teacher Eleni Patiraki was full of surprises. The first day started at the high school where teachers and students prepared an artistic programme with traditional dances, performed by the students. Later each country prepared presentations of the museums of interest for the students as well as opportunities to study and work in each participating country. I have enjoyed also the mini-drama prepared by the young high school students who performed a fragment from Euripidean play. Each learning activity was followed by an assessment moment, as much pleasant as appreciated. As the main goal of the ENTERPRISE project is creating a network of social tourism for youngsters, we have documented all possibilities to study, visit and work in situ, so we dedicated ourselves to getting to know the main tourist attractions and started with a trip to Chania, where we visited the museum, the cathedral, the catholic church and the tourist centre. Then we went to Rhetimnon, famous due to the fortress built under the Venetian occupation. What I liked most was the trip to the old village of Archanes, where the first traces of the Cretan civilization originated. The last day of the mobility took place in Herakleion high school where the participants presented local produce with a long-awaited tasting. During this mobility I had the chance to work with wonderful students and teachers and I learned that we are all similar, with the same concerns (as teachers) and the same social problems (the students). We have worked hard to create a network of social and cultural attractions for the young but mostly I have noticed the invisible net that connected us all, the love and empathy that surrounded us all the time.

5 Romanian Team s Memories Vlad Udrea about Crete They say that travel broadens the mind...i can t but agree with that. I wouldn t put emphasize on the literal travel though, but on people s culture and differences, as, for me, there are few things aside friends from other countries that can leave my heart so beautifully scarred with bliss. The last time I met and got to know people from a different country was this year s April, in Crete, Greece through the Erasmus + Enterprise project. Back then I learned lots of things about Greeks interests, traditions lifestyle, about their educational system and about their country overall. Of course, I made more than a few friends. Greeks are very friendly and kind people. I can also affirm from what I ve learned that that their culture and their way to be are stunningly similar to ours, the Romanians. In the end, people everywhere are separated by barriers such as language, religion, interests and even skin colour, but that doesn t mean we don t have to get along with each other. All of us live in the same world, all of us are human...and that is what really matters.

6 Romanian Team s Memories Meriem Chemal about Turkey Turkey is a great place from every point of view. I personally have been many times in Turkey. Turkey impressed me in many ways: people are so kind and welcoming, friendly, this is why I ll visit this country again and again. Istanbul, the city visited in the project Erasmus+, is a town of history. I saw a lot of touristic palaces: Topkapi, Sultan Ahmet. Knowing the language, I ve been able to guide my collegues and my teachers who have been with us to visit these wonderful places. The most unpleasant thing is that Istanbul is quite big and, to visit all the sights, you must have a lot of patience, of course they can t be visited all in one day, is too tiring. Schools in Turkey are well-developped institutions. Students receive more school materials. I wish that schools in my contry could be like this I only visited one school, unfortunately. However it was a nice week spent with Greeks, Italians, Turkish students, my colleagues and teachers. I wish this experience could repeat.

Hagia Sofia It is one of the most magnificent buildings in the city, Hagia Sofia must be the head of the list, because it is considered to be one of the grandest buildings in the world. 2. Topkapî Palace In two words, Topkapi Palace is an History concentrated! The size of the palace is impressed. It suffices to just name them: The inside of the four yards, the salute gate or the middle gate, Divan court, the justice tower, the hall with armors, the throne room, many costumes, the castle treasure, the collection of miniature paintings, the harem. 3. Bosphorus Bosphorus makes the connection between the Black Sea and Marmara Sea and together with Dardanelles separate Asia from Europe. 4. Grand Bazaar The Grand Bazaar is one of the largest covered markets in the world. What can you find here? Well, everything for everybody! From traditional to modern things! 5. Florya Istanbul Aquarium The largest aquarium in Istanbul presented us unforgettable underwater experience, covering the regions of the Black Sea to the Pacific Ocean. It is hosting marine species and rainforests.

8 Romanian Team s Memories Eda Asan about Turkey The fortune of being accepted in this project helped me to discover a little piece of the many beautiful places of this world. The trip to Istanbul and the project itself have been unique opportunities of meeting persons I would have never met, of linking beautiful friendships, of visiting wonderful places and of enjoying some of the oriental delights. Istanbul-a magnificent city that lies on 2 continents, amazed us through its continuous change.the various touristic attractions messed up our feelings, from amazement, emotion to fatigue and the satisfaction of a full day of culture and stories. The city keeps the remains of the past civilizations, and represents with all its marvel and mysticism a harmonious connection between the East and the Vest, past and present, antique and modern. It is one of the cities with the richest history, but one of the most beautiful, delightful cities in the whole world. The city has its own atmosphere, with its lifestyle, its people and attractions. Beside the visits at palaces and mosques, which were good lessons of history, the visit at the aquarium was like a trip in a magic world. The modern building helped us to travel easily in the past, but also in the future throughout its ultramodern techniques, living every moment on ships into the deep sea or on its surface. Initially, finding out I have been accepted in this program, I knew that I will gain self-confidence. Said and done! Linking friendships with students from Turkey, Italy and Greece made me believe in my own forces. The relaxed atmosphere, all the efforts of preparing the projects were worth it. With my acquired experience, I will try to guide other class-mates also in such projects in order to live these unique experiences.

9 Romanian Team s Memories Andrei Girip about Turkey The thing I likes the most were the touristic attractions from Istanbul: Top Kapy, Sf Sofia,Blue Mosque and the aquarium. Turkey is a beautiful, well organized country with a vast culture, which respects its traditions. People s hospitality, as well as their willingness to help is incredible. They also have a specific happiness they transmit you when they re around. The traditional food is exceptionally good, especially Döner and Kebab Iskender, Çiğ Köfte but also Maraş ice cream and let s not forget all the sweets. Kapalı Çarşı is the biggest bazaar I have ever seen. The atmosphere they create is unforgettable because they know how to have fun. So Turkey, but especially Istanbul, is a very beautiful city and I recommend it to be visited.

10 Greek Team s Memories Ioanna fragkioudaki about Romania and Greece The trip to Romania, in December of 2014, was one of the most beautiful experiences I ever had! I had the chance to meet new people and I also got to know another culture. The people were very hospitable and the city was very beautiful too. We had a very nice time with the students of the other countries and although the trip lasted only for one week we have the best memories! In Istanbul we had a great time! We saw a lot of sights, museums and it is very wonderful and big city. Their culture is very different comparing to our culture in Greece and we were very lucky because we had the chance to see a different way of living. In our country, Greece we hosted the students of the other countries. This experience was fantastic too because we prepared a celebration in order to welcome the people of the other country. We showed them our traditional dances and they also danced with us!

11 Greek Team s Memories Filippos Lenakakis about Romania and Greece We were really anxious before the children from the other countries arrived. We had to be as good hosts as they were which was not an easy thing. It was a very unique experience, we met people from Turkey, Italy and Romania of course. we found out that we are not very different no mater we were from different countries. We had a great time and i feel very lucky that i had the chance to participate in this programme. A travel to Romania seemed from the start very attractive. But only when we arrived there we realised that the trip was going to be perfect. Everything was magic. People in Romania is awesome...they are very friendly and they made us feel really welcome. Me personally i thought i was with my second family. We met many new friends and we saw great landscapes. Romanian cousine its quite similar to greek cousine although we tasted new dishes and different flavours. For me it was the first trip abroad. Honestly I dont think i will ever forget this trip.

12 Greek Team s Memories Charis Chatzikonstantinou about Turkey and Romania It was a fantastic experience to travel to Instabul! I was impressed with the wonderful sights such as Hagia Sofia, Top Kapi, Dolma Bahtse etc. In addition, their customs relating to their region were special and different from other countries. Also, the food was amazing and it has some similarities with the greek cuisine. In general it was a unique and unforgettable travel! It was great experience to travel to Romania! I learnt a new kind of culture and lifestyle. Also, I was really impressed with the hospitality of Romanian people and their general attitude on us. Finally, the most important I learnt was that all people should help each other worldwide and not to be prejudiced with other countries!

13 Greek Team s Memories Eleni Patiraki about Romania Surreal, exciting and constantly surprising, Romania is an amazing warehouse of culture, history and architecture as well as mind-blowing scenery. I found friends in Romania, not only partners in European programme. I felt that I am among friends got very warm hospitaly. I meet kind, generous and high educated persons, I met colleagues who have opened their houses to me, they gave me their friendship and knowledge of their country and culture. I am looking forward very much to find myself in Medgidia to meet again my dear friends and colleagues. Thank you, all of you dear friends. The meeting in Istanbul was an amazing experience. The city was wonderful and we had great time with all my colleagues and students. I will never forget this meeting with old and new friends, in a city full of spices, attractions and archaiological sites. The smell of Bosporus sea, the voice of the muezzin every morning, the taste of bread, the taste of kebab, the figures of people and the kindness in their eyes, all that, are images and scenes are memories that will be captured forever in my heart. After months of preparation, partners of Erasmus + programme, came to Crete and we had wonderful time, we traveled, we visited archaeological sites and attractions of our island, we danced and most of all we mainly felt joy and happiness that we were all together again. Although for me it was a very busy hospitality in preparing, I never regretted that. You are all in my heart.

14 Greek Team s Memories Agapis Stylianos about Greece It was a pleasure and joy for us to have schools from other countries.we felt that there was a feeling of true cooperation and solidarity between both teachers and students and we exchanged views and experiences which were very enlightening. It was a unique experience for me as Head of the school to receive and become acquainted with so many different cultures. Meeting the partners was a very rewarding experience after many months of hard work and preparation from our Erasmus team and mrs Patiraki Eleni our coordinator. Father Athanasion Athanasakis about Turkey At Turkey meeting, I was a little nervous at first but then I realized that our similarities are more than our differences. I had a wonderful time with my European partners and it was an unforgettable experience. Charalambos Katsidis about Greece It was very exciting to see the interaction between different cultures and different students and teachers from Romania, Italy, Turkey and Greece. The smile and joy of our students and the collaboration with the teachers from the partner countries will remain forever in my heart and my thoughts.

15 Turkish Team s Memories Serdar M. about Turkey I think this meeting was a good opportunity for all stundents to recognize that they have to improve their English not only for their lessons but also for talking the other friends from different countries. I pleased with meeting all the teachers and all the students. Thanks to our project, all the groups visited İstanbul and natural beauties there. I like Eyüp Sultan Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Taksim Square, Grand Bazaar and the Bosphorus Bridge. The best thing I liked mostly was that meeting and talking our friends. Serdar M.Didem Tosun R. about Turkey I saw the places in İstanbul many times. But this time it was different. I was with my collegues and students from İtaly, Greece and Romania. İt was also different as they were our visitors. The most important thing I noticed at this trip was that the students had aware of importance of English both for their lessons and communicating with other students coming from other countries. I really liked most talking with friends and enjoying time with them. I hope a day we can come together. Dilek Ozdemir about Turkey The İstanbul trip for five days was very enjoyable for me. The architecture of the places we went influenced me so much. I especially liked Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque), Eminönü Mosque, Eyup Sultan Mosque and Dolmabahçe Palace. Dolmabahçe Palace was near the sea. It's view was wonderful.i influenced most Atatürk's room. Eyup Sultan Mosque was unforgettable for me. I prayed in that historical mosque. It was the most unforgettable memory of mine.

16 Turkish Team s Memories Ceylan Yilmaz about Turkey I went to İstanbul with our teachers and friends. For the first day, we met many people coming from other countries. All of them were intimate. I like all the groups. We had enjoyable moment with our friends. As I was with my best friends and teachers, I was feeling happier.we saw many places in İstanbul. The places I liked most are Sultanahmet Mosque, Dolmabahçe Palace and Taksim Square. Sultanahmet Mosque was really impressing. It waas full of blue ormanents. It has a big yard. The architecture was perfect. Dolmabahçe Palace is divided into two: Harem and Selam. I really liked the room where Atatürk died. I was a bit sensitive as I saw Atatürk's room. Also, the rooms in Harem and their furniture influenced me. Arzu Akgunduz about Turkey İstanbul trip was a good opportunity for me to recognize that I have to improve my English. Although I went to İstanbul before, I saw so mant different places. The best thing is that I have a lot of friends from different countries. By talking them I have an opportunity to learn their culture and lifestyle. Also, I learned a few İtalian words pronounciation. This trip was for five days but I enjoyed talking them and recognized I have to study English in order to improve my English. I liked the Bosphorus Bridge and Hagia Sofia.
