6 Centre International d Antibes TEACHING METHODS PEDAGOGY TEACHING STAFF Our teachers are all university trained and qualified to offer high-quality teaching. Students benefit from constant encouragement and are free to work at their own pace, in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. PLACEMENT TEST: DAY 1 Day 1 Program: introduction to the school and tour of Antibes, followed by French language assessment consisting of a written and oral test. Students are then sorted into groups according to level. We cater for a variety of levels: Beginner* Post-beginner (A1-) Elementary (A1 and A2) Intermediate (B1) Advanced (B2 C1 C2) *See admission dates in our price list (p. 3) CERTIFICATES & CREDITS Each completed course week is awarded with 2 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System). Acquisition of vital grammatical skills and practical communication skills. LESSONS & ACTIVITIES Adults (aged 18 years minimum) select the lessons they want from our program. Children (aged 12 to 17 years) enjoy our complete junior program (lessons, meals and activities). (8 weeks and more) TEACHING The program includes an average of 23, 30 or 37 lessons per week, with groups of 12 students maximum. ACCOMMODATION Host family: individual room with half board. Accommodation in student residence in Antibes on request (transfer at extra cost). TRANSFERS Return transfers to Antibes from Nice Airport or Antibes railway station are included. Host families offer a friendly welcome, coupled with an agreeable and reassuring family lifestyle. OUR FAMILIES We know all our host families and visit them regularly. All will be delighted to share their everyday life with you and offer you the pleasures of home comfort. 32 "LA NAVARRE" CAMPUS JULY - AUGUST HYERES / LA CRAU ENVIRONMENT Set in the heart of a vineyard, this m 2 campus accommodates 200 students and is located 12 km from the sailing club and sandy beaches. A shuttle service runs to the sea until p.m. (1 a.m. during the week-ends and on evenings before national holidays) and every afternoon on week days. The sailing club, beaches and entertainment centers are situated just 20 minutes away. On-site amenities include a 16-meter free-standing pool, cafeteria, TV lounge, theatre for events and entertainment evenings and sports grounds (football, volleyball and basketball). 32 ATOLL JUNIOR

33 ROOMS All rooms are spacious, well-equipped and accommodate 3-4 students. Showers and toilets are situated on each floor. Bed linen is provided throughout your stay and changed every week. Towels are not included. A rapid clean is done every day, with a thorough clean once a week. Students are responsible for their room and required to keep it in a reasonably clean condition. Launderette facilities available on site for a fee. The campus is also fitted with individual open spaces separated by partitions height 1.65 m for 9-11 year-olds (mandatory).
