5 WELCOME TO GUSTAVSBERG AND SALTSJÖBADEN Just a 25 minute drive from Stockholm, Gustavsberg was the cradle of Swedish porcelain. The Gustavsberg porcelain factory was founded in 1825 and is still in business, making it Sweden's only porcelain factory. The anchor logo is their well-known symbol, which can probably be found in almost every Swedish home. Down in the harbour, you can visit the Gustavsberg Porcelain Museum, Art Gallery, and outlet stores that sell famous brands like Gustavsberg, Kosta Boda/Orrefors, Iittala, Villeroy & Boch and Gerbera. Parts of the factory buildings are now studios for about 100 artisans and ceramists. Located in Gustavsberg, Artipelag is an international venue for art, culture, design and good food, beautifully set among pine trees on Värmdo in the Stockholm archipelago. Art gallery, an Artbox for events and entertainment, a design shop and two restaurants with outdoor seating and a spectacular marine view. The Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden is beautifully situated in the hotel bay at Baggensfjärden, just a 30-minute train ride on Saltsjöbanan from downtown Stockholm. The hotel dates back to the late nineteenth century when the Wallenberg family had the hotel built with the idea of a Swedish Riviera. Participants: 5-10 pax Target Group: Leisure MICE, group/fit

The name Artipelag is a combination of Art, Activities and Archipelago. It says a lot about what Artipelag can offer, but it does not tell it all. With a fantastic location among forest and overlooking the archipelago you ll be stunned by the location. Join the guided tour of the exhibition and enjoy lunch in the restaurant.
