1 4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS MALTA TOUR DAY ONE: A taste of Malta Private tour Malta's known human history dates back to around 5000 BC and since then has experienced a multitude of influences, not only in culture but also in gastronomy. All those who ruled Malta left their mark: such as the Romans, the Arabs and the Knights. Maltese cuisine is the result of a long relationship between the Islanders and the many invaders who occupied the Maltese Islands over the centuries. No Mediterranean meal is complete without olive oil, honey and wine. For millennia, these have played a significant role in the Mediterranean cultures. On the island of Malta archaeological finds include: roman tools for olive pressing, roman amphoras for wine transportation and roman bee hives for honey making. Historians claim that the name 'Malta' means HONEY! Learn more about the history of the Maltese Gastronomy and feast your senses with samples of Malta's best produce such as Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Maltese Honey, as well as taste some of the best indigenous wines and bread. Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. Visit of bee hives. Protection wear (strictly mandatory) is provided. Wine tasting at a local winery-vineyard. Stop for some views of the country side and Mdina, the medieval town. Drive to the north west of the island and visit an organic olive oil farm. Another popular activity is visiting a local bakery. Here one can learn how to bake the local 'Ftira' and eat his own Ftira for lunch or dinner. The order of tour sites may vary depending on traffic, the weather and overcrowding of venues. Wear comfortable walking CLOSED shoes. If you are ALLERGIC to bees this tour is not for you! If you are, we can visit some roman remains related to the subject instead of the bee hives.

3 DAY TWO: Malta Shore Excursion Private Tour If you are visiting Malta on a cruise ship or otherwise, THIS IS THE TOUR FOR YOU! During this amazing tour, you will see all the most popular sights and experience the best parts of the island with a local guide. You ll see all of the things you would see on an ordinary tour -they're certainly worthwhile. But I will also show you the special things that make Malta great. After pick up by private taxi we drive to Mdina for a guided tour of the old Capital City. Drive to the south west of the island for a visit of Hagar Qim the megalithic Temples and the blue grotto. Enjoy some free time at Marsaxlokk - The Fishing Village Drive by taxi to the Capital City Valletta for lunch, shopping or for guided tour of the city. At this stage, the transport will leave us in Valletta centre. After the guided tour, I can escort you back to the ship. One may choose to remain in the city for independent sightseeing or shopping. A map highlighting your way back to the ship will be provided should you choose this option. 4 DAY THREE: Mdina, Rabat, Mosta and the Handicrafts Village Private Tour Take a drive to the town of Mosta and enjoy a guided visit to the famous Mosta Dome, considered the third largest church dome in Europe. Continue to the ancient city of Mdina. This enchanting Maltese city offers a warren of narrow streets, populated by churches, palaces and gracious houses. Enjoy some free time to explore the Ta' Qali Handicrafts Village and watch local artisans at work producing typical Maltese ware such as glass, silver and filigree. Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. Example: Drive to Mosta Church. Visit the church. Drive to Mdina. Full Guided tour of the city. Optional coffee Break. Drive to the Crafts Village. Visit the Glass Blowers and free time for shopping. There may be occasions without prior notice when the Mosta Dome is closed due to a religious function. If this should occur another stop can be added depending on your own wish. Day four: Noble Palaces and Private homes of Malta This private excursion will introduce you to Maltese art and history through its stately palaces and noble homes. Malta has a long history with varied influences, including Roman, Arab, Spanish, French and British, which has led to some beautiful architecture and sophisticated residences. As you visit Palazzo Falson (Medieval), the San Anton presidential Gardens and private chapel (Baroque)and Palazzo Parisio (19th century), you'll see frescoes, magnificent marble, mirrored walls, trompe l'oeil art, paintings, extravagant gilding, fine furniture, beautiful gardens and other fantastic decor. There may be occasions without prior notice when one of the above mentioned is closed due to private functions. If this should occur we will visit the San Anton Presidential Palace gardens or an external view of Palazzo Verdala which is the Summer Presidential Palace. Another noble house/palace can also be included depending on your wish. Drive to Rabat and Mdina 'The noble city' for a guided tour of the city and visit Palazzo Falson. A typical two-storey medieval palace fashioned on Sicilian examples of its period which houses an extraordinarily rich collection of antiques (Palazzo Falson is closed on Mondays). Enjoy a coffee break and breath-taking views from Palazzo de Piro. Continue to Attard and visit St'Anthony street which is described as one of the most beautiful

6 streets on the island. Here we visit San Anton Palace and Garde s, the official residence of the President of Malta. The Palace and its Gardens owe their origin to the Knight Antoine de Paule, a Frenchman knight from the Langue de Provence. Finally we visit Palazzo Parisio, described as a miniature Versailles, it is a glorious showcase of Maltese and Italian craftsmanship at the turn of the 19th century. We will also tour its magnificent walled gardens which rank amongst the finest in Malta. At this stage, the tour will end here. Meeting location: We will meet you at the Hotel.
