2 2 1st day (LISBON) Arrival in Lisbon. Meet with your tour escort at the airport. Visit of fascinating Lisbon, from the old city, passing by its elegant avenues, downtown Lisbon, the Commercial square and the 25 of April bridge, discovering as well the Belem Tower and Monument to the Discoveries, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and symbols of the Portuguese age of Discovery. We will then go to the Monastery of Hieronymites for a photo stop. Transfer to Leiria and dinner in a typical restaurant of the city. Check in at hotel and overnight. 3rd day (LEIRIA REGION * NAZARE * FATIMA * BATALHA * LEIRIA REGION) After breakfast, head for Portugal most famous seaside town Nazaré, starting with a cable car ride up to the Sitio, scenic spot with view over the full city and beach. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive to Fatima, religious site visited by millions of pilgrims every year after the apparition of the Holy Mother in 1917, where you will visit the holy sanctuary. Next stop is Batalha, with a visit of the local Monastery and its sumptuous clausters, symbol of the victory of the Portuguese army over Spanish troops in the year of 1385 and built in honor of the Virgin Mary, to thank her for the victory. After, head back to Leiria for dinner with folkloric theme. Return to hotel and overnight. 4th day (LEIRIA REGION * PORTO * LEIRIA REGION) After breakfast, head for Porto, capital of the north and undoubtedly the most fascinating city of Portugal. Visit of Lello bookstore, probably one of the most famous libraries worldwide, which inspired JK Rowling for her Harry Potter books. Visit of São Bento station, which was opened in 1916 and is well-known for its superb azulejos painting. Visit of Porto Cathedral, built during the 12th century and main religious monument of the city. After that, walk down to the breath-taking Ribeira district for lunch in a typical restaurant of the city. After lunch, you will enjoy a cruise on the traditional wooden boat Rabelo and cross Porto s six famous bridges. Following this, head for a local winery for a visit of its cave and degustation of traditional Portwine, the most famous wine of Portugal. Drive back to Leiria, dinner in a typical restaurant. Return to hotel and overnight.

3 Classic Portugal and Spain (9 days/ 8 nights) 3 5th day (LEIRIA REGION * COIMBRA * SALAMANCA) After breakfast, head for the city of Coimbra, where lies one of the oldest universities of Europe, founded in the 13th century. Visit of the picturesque city center where lies the Santa Cruz Monastery, resting place of the two first kings of Portugal. Lunch in a typical restaurant of the city. After that, drive towards Salamanca in Spain. Check in at hotel, dinner and overnight. 6th day (SALAMANCA * AVILA * MADRID) After breakfast, visit of Salamanca, starting with the university, one most famous in the country, founded in the 12th century, which makes it the oldest of Spain and third oldest in all Europe. Next stop is the Cathedral, world Heritage Site, built between the 16th and 18the centuries which features a mix of Gothic and Baroque style. After that, visit the Clerecia Towers, where from a bird s-eye view, you can contemplate the rich and varied architectural cultural heritage that the city has to offer, the complex pattern of its street and the Baroque exuberance of the Clerecia. Lunch at hotel. After, drive towards Madrid and have a stop at Avila, typical Spanish medieval town where you can go up the Walls surrounding the city and discover the magnificent turrets and also the nine gates that provide access to the interior of the city. Head for Madrid, check in at hotel, dinner and overnight. 7th day (MADRID * SEGOVIA * MADRID) After breakfast, drive to Segovia, in the north of Madrid and located on a cliff that is over one thousand meters above sea level. You will have a view of the Roman aqueduct that dominates the center of the city. Lunch in a typical restaurant of the city. After lunch, head back to Madrid and visit the capital of Spain starting by an external view of the Royal Palace, official residence of the King of Spain, following is the plaza Mayor, Madrid s most famous Square where lies the famous statue of Philip III. Then, photo stop at the Ventas Bullfight ring, inaugurated in 1931, it is the 3rd largest bullfight ring in the world. Next stop will be the Real Madrid souvenir shop located next to the famous Santiago Bernabeu stadium, home of the real Madrid football club and Cristiano Ronaldo. Dinner in a restaurant of the city. Return to 8th day (MADRID * BARCELONA) After breakfast, transfer to Madrid train station where you will take a train direction to the world-famous city of Barcelona, second most populous city in Spain and capital of Catalunya. Lunch in a restaurant of the city. First stop will be the Sagrada Familia, designed by the prestigious Antoni Gaudi and classified as world Heritage Site by UNESCO. Next is the peculiar Casa Battlo, where you can admire its iconic and unusual architectural style. After that is the amazing and multi-colored Park Guell, stylish park that contains amazing stone structures, stunning tiling and fascinating buildings. At night, dinner in a restaurant of the city. Check in at hotel and overnight. 9th day (BARCELONA) After breakfast, you can enjoy the day in Barcelona, starting by Gotic Quarter, center of the old city of Barcelona, where lies numerous cultural and historical sites. Stop at Plaza de Catalunya, square that occupy an area of fifty thousand square meters site and where some of the city most important streets and avenue meet. Lunch at your own arrangement. During the afternoon, walk to La Rambla, Barcelona most famous avenue, with a length of over one kilometer. You can enjoy some free time for shopping at this thrilling spot.
