3 Gudauri is a mountain resort on the southern slopes of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range in Georgia, attracting visitors with a variety of opportunities for active recreation in the mountains, amazing landscapes and a hospitable atmosphere. 6 TBILISI AND MTSKHETA SIGHTSEEING TBILISI is the capital and the largest city of Georgia, lying on the banks of the Kura River with a population of roughly 1.5 million inhabitants.
