3 Travel just a short distance from the town and you will get a magical view: the bell towers of the two churches stand out above the trees, which paint the canvas an intense green in spring and summer, display an explosion of color in autumn and accompany the smoke from the chimneys and the sparkling snow in winter. The lovely town center of Artíes is as worthy of a visit as its views from a distance. 4 How to arrive The Parador is located at the entrance to the town of Artíes, 7 km from Vielha, where you exit from the N-230, taking the road to Baqueira Beret ski resort (7 km away). 5 The Parador Kitchen The restaurant is located on the ground floor, between Hostería Don Gaspar de Portola and the main entrance to the Parador. It features a large stained glass window and huge windows offer fantastic views of the Bagerque Mountains and the incomparable presence of Mount Montardo, the emblematic peak of Naut Aran. During the months of February July, lunch is served in the new La Chimenea dining area, the ideal spot to sample the delights of Catalan cuisine.
