2 Historic St Lawrence River njoy a relaxing six night cruise along the St. Lawrence River from Quebec City to Kingston as we retrace our ancestors travels from east to west. Learn the history of some of Canada's oldest settlements in the year of our 150th birthday. This cruise includes all meals and excursions while aboard the ship, and you can easily extend your journey in Quebec City, Ottawa or Toronto. WDNSDAY, JUN 28 D Day 1 Quebec City Boarding Our journey begins in North America's, "Cradle of French Civilization" - Quebec City. We embark our ship the mv Canadian mpress, home for the next six days as we cruise the St. Lawrence River. We enjoy the Captain s Welcome and Reception, before heading out for a tour of the harbour and a viewing of Montmorency Falls and Quebec City at night. THURSDAY, JUN 29 BLD Day 2 Trois-Rivieres We depart Quebec City early this morning. njoy views of the stunning cliffs that stretch up to the Plains of Abraham, and the extraordinary river scenery of the St. Lawrence before we stop at Trois-Rivieres. We arrive and leave the ship for a short tour of Cap-dela-Madeleine founded in 1651 and renowned for its basilica. We return to our ship for the night. FRIDAY, JUN 30 BLD Day 3 Montreal This morning we sail south to Montreal, the largest city in Quebec. The city is set on an island in the Saint Lawrence River and named after Mount Royal, the triple-peaked hill at its heart. Here we enjoy a two-hour sightseeing tour and then some free time to explore the city on our own before we return to our ship. Tonight, we sail through the Seaway Lock system and overnight in Lachine. SATURDAY, JULY 1 BLD Day 4 Upper Canada Village We depart Lachine bound for Upper Canada Village this morning. We pass through the Beauharnois Locks and the isenhower and Snell Locks into Lake St. Lawrence. Later we arrive in Upper Canada Village Crysler Park Marina and have time to stroll the marina and grounds. SUNDAY, JULY 2 BLD Day 5 Prescott - Brockville After breakfast we take a miniature train to meet horse-drawn wagons for a tour of Upper Canada Village. This living museum preserves the traditional way of life of the pioneers of the 1860's. We return to our ship and sail to Prescott Ontario where we leave the ship and take a tour of Fort Wellington. This fort was first built in 1812 to defend the St. Lawrence River shipping route from possible attacks by the Americans. Our final destination today takes us to Brockville - the City of a Thousand Islands. We overnight here and have time to relax or stroll along the park walkways. MONDAY, JULY 3 BLD Day 6 Cruising the 1000 Islands This morning we are taken by bus to Fulford Place, a turn-of-the-century mansion. We tour this magnificent home that has entertained royalty, prime ministers and celebrities. Then we depart "Loyalist" Brockville to leisurely meander through the famous and beautiful 1000 Islands en route to Rockport. Upon arrival, a bus will transfer us to the 1000 Islands Skydeck for a breathtaking view of the area. This evening we will have live big band music and dancing onboard.

3 TUSDAY, JULY 4 BL Day 7 Kingston This morning we visit the Heritage Centre which is dedicated to preserving the unique history of this region. The Captain takes us on a waterfront tour through the Wanderer's Channel to Kingston where nature lovers will be in awe of the wildlife seen along the way. This afternoon following the Closing Ceremonies in the Grand Saloon, we disembark the vessel filled with wonderful memories and a renewed vision of the beautiful country we can be proud to call home. 4 Tour Conditions & Information RSRVATIONS A deposit of $300 per person is required to make a reservation on this tour. This deposit is refundable up to 100 days prior to departure. A confirmation of your reservation will be forwarded to you after the deposit is received. FINAL PAYMNT The final payment is due no later than 100 days before departure. A reminder will be sent to passengers in advance of this date. If you are joining the tour within 100 days of departure, full payment is required. CRDIT CARD PAYMNTS For payments made by credit card, we reserve the right to have credit card charges processed by the suppliers of travel services such as the airline, cruise line, etc. If this occurs, your payment will be split between Rostad Tours and the other suppliers and will appear as separate payments on your credit card statement. SHARD & SINGL ACCOMMODATION You must indicate at the time of booking whether you want to share a room or if you prefer a single room. Your roommate if known, should also be indicated. TOUR PRIC The prices shown are in Canadian dollars. Although unlikely, we reserve the right to adjust prices for any significant changes from our suppliers. CANCLLATIONS Cancellations are based on the following maximum penalties: 99 to 61 days prior $300 to departure 60 to 46 days 25% of full fare 45 to 16 days 50% of full fare 15 to 0 days 100% of full fare If you cancel, you will receive back all money paid towards the tour less the applicable cancellation fee and any insurance premium paid. INSURANC We recommend that you purchase insurance at the time you make your final payment to protect yourself against any possible cancellation charges or out-of-country medical expenses. An all-inclusive policy which has cancellation, hospital/medical and baggage coverage will be offered to Alberta residents prior to making their final payment. For passengers residing outside of Alberta, we will explain how you can obtain our special group rates for travel insurance direct from Old Republic Insurance Group. If you are considering using your credit card company's insurance coverage, we strongly suggest you verify that they will reimburse the full amount of any cancellation charges. PASSPORTS The voyage is all Canadian. Homeland security measures in North America are exercised along the river. Air, land and water travel between U.S.A., other offshore countries & Canada requires passports. We recommend you travel with your passport. HALTH RQUIRMNTS During walking tours you will likely experience uneven ground, cobblestone streets and various amounts of steps or stairs. For your enjoyment, and in fairness to your fellow passengers, you should be in good physical condition, with the ability to stand for extended periods of time and walk up to two kilometres easily. Should you feel a particular excursion may be too strenuous, you are welcome to forgo the sightseeing tour and rest or explore on your own. TOUR DOCUMNTS An extensive set of tour documents will be sent approximately days prior to departure. Please notify our office in writing if you require any information in advance of this date. BAGGAG ALLOWANC Typically airlines allow you to check one suitcase free of charge but this is subject to change. In order to avoid excess baggage fees, the dimensions of your suitcase should not exceed 60 (i.e. 30 length + 20 height + 10 width) and the weight should not exceed 23 kgs. Rostad Tours accepts no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, any baggage or any tour member s personal belongings. ITINRARY VARIATIONS The cruise operator, reserves the right to withdraw and/or cancel a tour or to make changes in the itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant it. It is not obliged to substitute another vessel or itinerary and shall not be liable for any loss whatsoever to guests by reason of any such cancellation, advancement or postponement. Rostad Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary of the tour due to airline schedule changes or any other circumstances beyond our control. TOUR MMBRSHIP Rostad Tours reserves the right to reject any person as a tour member and to expel from the tour any person whose actions are deemed to be detrimental to the enjoyment of the tour by the other passengers. Children 6 years of age and under at the time the tour departs are considered too young to travel on tour.
