May 18 Arrive Auckland New Zealand Arrive into Auckland and after completing customs and immigration you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Auckland is the largest and most densely populated of New Zealand cities. It is located on the edge of the Hauraki Gulf and is often referred to as the City of Sails from the number of sailboats using the harbour at the weekends. It is a cosmopolitan city with large Polynesian communities adding to the ethnic mix and creating a vibrant and multicultural city. Stay Stamford Plaza or similar May 19 Auckland Sightseeing then to Rotorua.. A short sightseeing tour before departing the city of Auckland. It is not long before you are in the rich farmlands of the Waikato. Continue onto Rotorua arriving early afternoon. On arrival in Rotorua undertake a short sightseeing tour of this city. Stay Millennium Hotel Lakeview rooms or similar. Rotorua is a major destination for both domestic and international tourists it is known for its geothermal activity, and features geysers notably the Pohutu Geyser at Whakarewarewa and hot mud pools. This thermal activity is sourced to the Rotorua caldera, on which the town lies. Rotorua is also the centre of the 2

Stay Hermitage Hotel Premium Mountain View rooms May 27 Mt Cook to Christchurch - Depart Transfer from Mt Cook to Christchurch airport. Fly Christchurch, Auckland and onto USA OPTIONAL TOURS. A document will be provided detailing the Optional Tours (with costs) available in Rotorua and Queenstown and Mt cook. Passengers will be able to pre select, book and pay for their optional tours before departure.
