1 Travel Advisory for the tour Lena river cruise M/s "Mikhail Svetlov" is a three deck passenger motor ship, project Q 065, built in Austria. It has modern navigation equipment, good maneuverability and is designed to exploit on interior waterways. Restaurant, bar, music and reading salons provide good rest and traveling conditions. The length of the ship is 90 m, width 15 m, draft 1.6 m. Cruising speed is 21.5 km/h. The boat is fit up with modern furniture and equipment, general conditioning; each room has a radio, shower, toilet. There are a restaurant with 82 seats, a bar with 50 seats and a conference hall. 6 weather it can be fire in taiga and very foggy. Near to the Polar Circle the temperature is not so high (the minimum is +4C). The wind near the Polar circle is more intensive (to 28 m/sec). The storm 1 m and above can appear. Insects In July and June there are very many insects, first of all mosquitoes and gnats. For this reason please take with you protection means against these insects (creams, head net etc.). Clothes In July-June take sporty clothes, light jacket or raincoat, warm sweater, trainers, gumboots (for fishing fans), summer protection caps. In August you will need warm clothes (warm jacket with hood, hat and light gloves). For captain cocktail you can take with you more elegant clothes.
