Breakfast will be cooked and served by the dedicated volunteers from The Al Azhar Shriners who have been helping us with the breakfast for the past 8 years. 2 UPCOMING EVENTS June Environment Week Events Commuter Challenge The 2016 Commuter Challenge in all of our downtown buildings was a week-long competition in celebration of active and sustainable transportation held during Environment Week in June. Our tenants registered as a company or an individual at and needed to make at least one sustainable commute during the week in order to be included in the final results. This included walking, cycling, carpooling, or transit. Tracked impacts were emission reduction, calorie consumption, distance and fuel cost savings. Great Energy Challenge focused on electricity use The Great Energy Challenge on June 6-10 was a campaign to heighten tenant awareness of their electrical consumption and to inspire small changes in their behavior to help decrease overall electricity usage. Each floor s energy consumption was tracked during the week, and then compared to a previous week s daily consumption. Livingston Place saw an overall decrease of 9.24% in energy consumption, and the winner of the challenge was Pengrowth on the 22nd floor South Tower with an average decrease of 6.65%. They won a complimentary lunch provided by Bentall Kennedy. Calgary Crossword Puzzle Test your knowledge with this crossword answers are on the page Across 3. Building named after early supporters 5.
