3 Volunteer Program Currently have 80 volunteers Ages 16 to 85 years old In 2008 volunteers assisted nearly 102,603 customers and donated 6,300 hours of service Responsibilities include: Wayfinding Meet and Greet Passengers Create First Impression of Airport and City Providing Airport Information Providing Tourist Information Restroom Attendant Program and Renovations: Most restrooms were original to the building, built in 1982, and have therefore been renovated. Along with the renovations, Restroom Attendants provide added customer service and have increased the overall quality and cleanliness of the Airport s restrooms. 4 USO Opened September 1, 2006 Located on the second floor of the Atrium The USO hosts nearly 7,000 military men, women and their family members each month. Currently ranks as the fourth busiest USO in the nation. Coming Soon: Medical Center The AeroClinic, in partnership with Presbyterian Healthcare, will operate and staff an in-terminal Medical Center, scheduled to open at the beginning of next year. The AeroClinic will provide treatment for minor ailments, preventative care, X-rays and vaccinations. Prescriptions and packaged medicines will also be available. The AeroClinic is currently offering seasonal flu shots to employees and passengers through a kiosk in the Atrium of the terminal, averaging 50 shots each day. 4

6 Green Efforts From 7/1/08 6/30/09, CLT recycled 42.2 tons of glass, 396 tons of cardboard & paper and 9.7 tons of coffee grounds. 7 Airlines Increasing Air Service at CLT JetBlue recently added a second nonstop flight between CLT and Boston. Continental Airlines enhanced its CLT-Newark route by servicing with a larger aircraft. US Airways resumed nonstop service between CLT and Paris, while adding nonstop service to Montreal and Key West. In December, US Airways will add nonstop service to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Honolulu, HI. The airline recently announced plans to add nonstop service to Sao Paulo, Brazil from CLT.
