2 Dear Residents, Time goes fly and now it s already May, This month will become a very special Month for all our Moslem residents, I would like to take the opportunity to extend Ramadhan greetings to all our residents who celebrate it on this sacred occasion. The month of Ramadan is the most glorious month. A Holy month of Ramadan all blessings will be revealed. Fasting is one of the thing that moslem do as one of worship. The month of Ramadan is a period of fasting for 30 days during daylight hours, sharing and giving, self-introspection, piousness and self-training with the hope that these qualities will extend beyond this month and stay with us throughout the year. Indeed, the essence of fasting in Ramadan is spiritual. Nevertheless, this holy month also offers a number of benefits for both the mind and body. In welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan, on behalf of Building management we would like to extend our best wishes for peaceful and sacred month to our Residents who will commend Ramadhan, we wish you a peace, tranquility, strong faith, healthy and active lives on this blessed month also throughout the year. 3 Vehicle Parking Regulation To ensure the safety and the convenience of all residents, kindly remind you to refer the vehicle parking regulation as mention in The House Rules & Regulations Point 3 Section 3.1.4, & 3.1.6: All vehicles must be registered with the Building Management for the issuance of the parking stickers, which shall be renewable yearly at the beginning of each year. Re-registration of vehicles and drivers will be required prior to issuance of new parking stickers. The stickers must be placed at the bottom right hand corner of the windshield of the vehicle The vehicle number should be the same number as the sticker in the right hand corner of the windshield Please contact Tenant Relations at Basement 2 Lobby for any changes in vehicles registration or replacement of any lost sticker. 5.1 PASSENGER LIFTS The maximum capacity for each passenger lift is 1,000 kg NO LITTERING, NO SMOKING, NO EATING and NO DRINKING in the passenger lifts at all times The Pakubuwono Signature is equipped with 8 passenger lifts. These passenger lifts shall be strictly used by Residents and their respective visitors Children under age of 5 years must be accompanied by adult at all times inside the passenger lifts Nurses, nannies may use the passenger lift when accompanying children or sick elders of the Residents Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards or such object alike are not allowed inside the passenger lifts. Service lifts maybe used for this purpose. The security officers reserve the rights to disallow those mentioned object at the passenger lifts. 5.2 SERVICE LIFT The Pakubuwono Signature is equipped with 2 service lifts. The service lifts can be used by everybody. Resident should ensure all domestic helpers and staffs to use the service lifts

4 Barbeque Area / Outdoor Facilities Only Residents are permitted to book the BBQ Area. Visitors must be accompanied by the Residents at all time The BBQ Area bookings must be made two days in advance or upon availability The bookings are on a policy of first come first served basis The bookings are non-transferable Parents or guardians must properly supervise the children as the Building Management shall not be responsible for any injury or damage caused during the use of facilities Any projectile devices are not allowed within the premises The Building Management reserves the right to accept or decline any booking

5 Boiling water is probably the easiest and most reliable way of rendering personal quantities of water from an unknown source safe to drink. There are very few pathogens that can survive in 100 degree C temperature. Water can be contaminated by people or animals and some of the resident pathogens are true nightmares. Note that boiling does not remove chemical contaminants. For large scale water purification, a combination mechanical and chemical treatments render water safe to drink. While portable water filters are excellent resources that can help rid your drinking water of harmful bacteria, some people especially those who have never invested in water purification systems before may not feel entirely confident in how good water may be.

6 If you're unsure about the effectiveness of a filter and worried that the water in your community or region may be impacted by pollutants, you may consider boiling water instead. Yet, is one option better than the other, or should you combine both methods to ensure the quality of your water? Consider these helpful tips to learn more! The benefits of boiling water A boil water alert issued in Tampa, Fla., this past February highlighted the need that people in vulnerable communities may have for clarification on this topic. According to Fox News, the city officials issued the alert because they believed the water was impacted by disease-causing bacteria. Bringing water to a rolling boil can eliminate bacteria and make water safe for consumption. While water filters can remove pollutants, the source recommended doing both activities, as boiling water and purifying it may offer the greatest amount of protection in the event that an advisory is issued in your community. In some instances, like showering, you may not be able to boil water and as a result, may be fearful of engaging in these tasks. However, bathing in water that may be contaminated could be fine, so long as you avoid ingesting the water. The advantages of purification systems Backpacker magazine noted that boiling water before use has long been regarded as one of the most foolproof ways of ensuring that water is of the highest quality. While boiling water may be time-intensive in some instances, it can rid water of all bacteria. Filters, conversely, may only be able to remove protozoans and bacteria. They may not be able to make water more antiseptic, which boiling can. In this instance, ultra violet light water purification which can also remove viruses and other bacteria that may not be visible to the eye is ideal, and can be easy to both transport and use throughout your travels.

7 Ramadan 2018 When is Ramadan in Ramadan is a special time for Muslims across the world. Falling in the tenth month of Shawwal, the Islamic calendar, it was at this time of the year when the Angel Gibril revealed to the Prophet Mohammed Allah s will and so were written the very first verses of the Holy Qur'an. The month of Ramadan is spent fasting from dawn to dusk everyday - it is a time to introspect, reflect and reinforce the bond between the Almighty and the faithful. Ramadan culminates in the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr - when the period of restraint ends in an extravagant explosion of joie de vivre, festivities and feasting. The devout gather together to offer Eid prayers and greet each other in a rejuvenated spirit of camaraderie. Eid is a day of thanksgiving, of peace, of remembrance, of charity and of forgiveness, celebrated amidst great jubilation once the delicate silver sliver of the crescent moon has been sighted. The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr forges fraternal and communal love, self-discipline and commitment to Allah.

8 Dusting Isn't Futile, Here are Some Dos and Don'ts Dust, as we somewhat euphemistically know it, is a pretty disturbing amalgamation of pet dander, dirt, soot, hair, pollen, dust mite feces, and other tiny particles that get in our breathing zones and relentlessly coat every surface in our homes. Probably because dust is so pervasive, dusting is one of our most dreaded and, therefore, often most neglected chores. Here are some dos and don'ts that should take some sting out of the task. Don't 1. Put it off; regular dusting is so much easier. 2. Use a feather duster. It only moves dust around (rather than trapping it). A better option is a microfiber duster like this one from OXO. 3. Forget to dust hidden things like cords, outlet areas, and vents. 4. Forget to dust your plants. Use a soft damp cloth or sponge to wipe down leaves. More instructions on that here. 5. Forget to get the dust bunnies under furniture. Do 1) Use a microfiber duster, or a slightly dampened cloth. 2) Use a vacuum cleaner when dusting walls. 3) Work from top to bottom. Start with ceiling fans and walls, and work your way down to baseboards. 4) Use a rubber glove to help coax dust from deep within upholstered furniture. Follow with the upholstery attachment hooked up to a vacuum. 5) Use a clean, dry paint brush to dust window screens and small items like figurines. 6) Use an old pillowcase (dampened is ideal!) to dust those ceiling fan blades with minimal mess. You can see this and other dusting hacks in action right here. 7) Change your HVAC unit's filter periodically, remembering that certain seasons will clog the filter more rapidly (like pollen season). 8) Use tongs to make dusting blinds twice as fast. 9) Use compressed air to dust fans and keyboards.
