3 Schedule and Class List for 2017 New England 4-H Horse Program Note: Any changes to this schedule will be posted in Barn E and the 4-H Horse Office This schedule is subject to change at any time during the event Wednesday, September 20 12:30 pm Deadline for horse and participant arrivals Barn E 1:30 pm New England Committee & Barn Manager s meeting Barn E 2:30 pm Orientations Barn E Team Challenge sign ups due before start of Fitting and Showmanship 4:00 pm Fitting & Showmanship: Classes by Division Coliseum 1. English A 4. English C 2. In Hand/Drivers 5. Western 3. English B 6.Teen Leaders Exercise by discipline time will follow completion of fitting and showmanship Order as follows: English A, Western, In-Hand, Drivers, English B, English C 20 minutes each Coliseum To follow exercise time Orientation & F&S Placings Moses Auditorium The barn will be CLOSED during orientation. Attendance is MANDATORY (Including chaperones and barn managers); parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Team Challenge #1 (after orientation in the Moses Auditorium) Thursday, September 21 7:30 am Warm Up for Hunter Over Fences Coliseum Hunter Over Fences (following warm up) Assistance will be needed to move equipment from Coliseum to Paddock N and to set up trail Western Handiness Precision Driving In Hand Obstacles (small equine) Hunter Under Saddle Flag Ceremony Practice (in Coliseum following HUS if time remains) Warm Up for Trail classes Paddock N Trail will begin their warm up immediately following trail course set up Western Trail English Trail 3:30 pm Showmanship Championship Paddock N Team Challenge TBA 4:30 pm General Knowledge test Moses Auditorium Please go to supper after you complete your test 7:00 pm Exercise by state 20 min each (optional) Paddock N
