Raymond A Lamb Limited was a family owned Laboratory Supply business which was established for over 50 years. They were renowned for their innovation and quality products such as the MicroWriter Cassette and Slide printers. Raymond A Lamb Ltd was bought out by Thermo Fisher Scientific in We have put together a range of products based on the old Raymond A Lamb range and our intention is to keep adding to it by developing new innovative products. There is no minimum order level and wherever possible we aim to ship the same day as the order is placed. Please for quantity prices. 3 Terms and Conditions Specifications We reserve the right to change specifications without prior notice. Loss or Damage in Transit Damaged goods or quantity discrepancies must be reported to the carrier on receipt. Notification must also be made to us within 5 days of delivery. In case of non-delivery this must be reported to us within 14 days of dispatch date shown on the invoice. Prices We reserve the right to charge for goods at the price ruling on the date of dispatch. Prices in our list are quoted excluding packaging, carriage and VAT. Product prices and transport costs are subject to change without prior notice. Most prices, particularly products of our own manufacture, are reviewed annually in April. Payment For customers with credit approval payment is due within 30 days of the tax point date unless otherwise agreed. Goods remain strictly the property of Pyramid Innovation Ltd until paid for in full. The following major credit cards are accepted. Minimum Order Value We have no minimum order value. Packaging and carriage are charged by weight. Export Orders All packing and shipping costs for international orders are charged by weight. Returning Goods Authorisation and a Returns Note Number must be obtained prior to the return of goods. We reserve the right to apply a handling charge of up to 20% for goods ordered in error. We do not usually accept the return of non-standard or special items. All goods being returned for credit must be in 100% saleable condition any transit damage / breakage will be at the customer s expense. Guarantee / Warranty Our equipment is warranted against any defects of material or workmanship which develop for any reason, except user abuse, within a period of one year following the tax point date shown on Pyramid Innovation s invoice. In the event of the defect developing during the warranty period we will at our election repair or replace the equipment with a new or reconditioned model of equivalent quality. Any obligation under warranty is subject to the instrument being returned to Pyramid Innovation at the consignor s cost. It is the user s responsibility to ensure that the instrument is in good, safe working order at all times and regular inspection is therefore recommended. Heath / Safety and Liability Risk in products will pass at the time of delivery to the customer. The customer is responsible for unloading and transporting large and/or heavy items from delivery vans. In view of the hazards of certain solutions / mounting mediums / chemicals and equipment, the customer will be solely responsible for determining the suitability and specification of products, services, information and advice for its purposes. Pyramid Innovation has the right, without notice, to supply products of different specifications, sources, and pack size to that published or ordered. The customer is required to ensure that the use of any products supplied by Pyramid Innovation do not infringe third party intellectual property rights. In view of the above, liability of Pyramid Innovation for any loss or damage suffered by a customer and arising by reason of defects in the products or otherwise howsoever is limited to the invoice price of the products in respect of or in relation to which loss or damage is claimed. Any liability accepted by Pyramid Innovation under these terms and conditions is in lieu of any warranty or condition implied by law as to the quality or fitness for any particular purpose of the products and save as provided in these terms and conditions Pyramid Innovation will not be under any liability, whether in contract, tort, breach of statutory duty or otherwise in respect of defects in products delivered or for any injury (other than death or personal injury caused by Pyramid Innovation negligence as defined in the Unfair Contact Terms Act 1977) damage or loss resulting from such defects or from any information, service or advice provided by Pyramid Innovation or its employees, contractors or agents. In no event shall Pyramid Innovation be liable for any consequential loss whether or not resulting in force majeure. The customer indemnifies Pyramid Innovation against any claims from its employees, contractors or agents. Quality Standards All products manufactured by Pyramid Innovation comply with European standards. Mains Supply Voltages Our electrical equipment is for use with Volt 50Hz or Volt 60Hz mains supply. However most products can be used at 50-60Hz. Prices and details of other voltages and frequencies are available on request. 5 Metal Slide and Block Cabinets Stackable Slide and Block Cabinets Pyramid Innovation offer a range of storage cabinets for paraffin blocks and microscope slides. These are of metal construction and powder coated in grey. Cabinet Top Cover The metal top cover fits both the slide and cassette cabinets. 9 Staining ImmunoHistoChemistry Liquid Blocker PAP Pens The Liquid Blocker Super PAP Pen is a ready-to-use hydrophobic barrier pen designed for ImmunoHistoChemistry (IHC) applications. Draw a circle, square or any shape around the tissue sections with the pen and it provides a barrier ensuring only the amount of antibody solution needed is applied. This eliminates over-flooding of the slide and therefore wiping of excess fluid from around the specimen can be avoided. This saves time and avoids the risk of touching specimens when wiping. Multiple specimens can be separated by circles or lines applied to the same slide. The pen contains a special formulation that is water repellent, insoluble in alcohol and acetone, and stable for a long time period. It can be removed, if required, by xylene after the staining procedure is completed if the chromogen is insoluble in solvents. 10 Staining ImmunoHistoChemistry Immuno Slide Staining Tray The semi-disposable tray is suitable for routine staining requiring humidity. It is also ideal for Haematology, Cytology and Microbiology laboratories. The tray is made from black ABS plastic capable of withstanding a wide range of chemicals (avoid chlorinated hydrocarbons). Each slide position has its own well for holding water without splashing, rails hold the slides above the wells ensuring that the slides do not come into contact with the water.
