Main Street, Montrose, CO Phone APRIL - JUNE NEWSLETTER YEAR not to hot and not too cold a little windy sometimes but it s the time of year when all is getting green and pretty outside and on those windy days what better to do than sit at our sewing machines and enjoy that s a fun day. Yes-sir-ree!! For those that have not heard we are relocating and are so-o-o excited about the move. Our new address will be..832 East Main Street located just east of Domino s Pizza and west of The Coffee Trader. Floors are done cleaning will be next along with a little painting and then we will be ready move in. The actual move will be done on Friday, April 4 th and Saturday, April 5 th.. This, of course, will mean that we will be closed those two days but we will open as normal on Tuesday, April 8th. Clue #2 available Saturday, March 1 st, Realizing this falls on the Saturday we are moving clues will be available on the following Tuesday, April 8 th at the new location.

When: Every 2 nd Tuesday of the month 10:30 AM 3:30 PM (April 8 th, May 13 th, June 10 th ) Fee for the day: $12 Last Friday Sewing Fun - Hang out and sew from 6pm to midnight (or whenever). We ll provide a casual dinner and you just get to spend time on your project. What more could you ask for? AND we have lots more space to spread out!!!!! 3 TABLE GRACES - PLACEMATS - Quilt As You Go - This class is a quick and you ll have one of four placemats finished when you get through. Simple, easy and fun pattern shows you a different way as well as napkins and a tablecloth to match. Choose a morning or evening class. Class preparation: Fabric and batting needs to be cut in advance. Date(s): Saturday, May 3, :30 AM 1:30 PM OR Thursday, June 19, :30 PM - 8:30 PM Fee: $20.00 Carry On Travel Bag! - Looking for that truly neat travel bag... this is it. (See sample at Ladybugz)... Functional yet stylish. Has side grab handles and a detachable, adjustable strap with pad for comfortable over-the-shoulder carrying. Lots of pockets inside and out provide easy access to travel needs and plenty of organized storage. Carry on compliant, too! Side note a smaller sewing machine fits well in this bag, hence, works great for a carrying case for your machine. Two day back to back class. Holds three bottles of wine or give as a gift with a bottle of wine and wine glasses coffee caddy you say, holds one pound coffee and coffee mugs. Take out the divider out and the bag can be used by itself. Class requires precutting of fabric and stabilizer/batting. Just in time for summertime and travel. Bring your lunch and we ll have a fun day getting this bag put together. Date(s): Wednesday, May 21, :30 AM 5:00 PM Fee: $ includes pattern CROSS BREEZE QUILT by Cozy Quilt Designs - Come join in for a fun project with the Strip Tube Ruler... not mandatory but helpful in making this design. Fun to make and looks like a million when done (see store sample). Let us show you how to put it together. Day and a half class back-to-back Wednesday and Saturday are all day class so be sure and bring a lunch. (See sample at store). This is probably the most forgiving quilting experience you ll have and that s why it s called Buggy Barn! This is an all-day class, so bring a lunch and let s have some fun. 4 BRITTA HOOPSTER BASKET - Two different sizes of quilted basket... pieced or solid it sits pretty on a table with your fruit or works to store and organize. Gift giving is another option. Bring a lunch and enjoy the day. Date(s): Tuesday, May 20, :30 AM - 5:00 PM Fee: $15 + pattern TROPICAL FRUIT PINEAPPLE - This is a tropical fruit pineapple. It is fun to see how all the colors play out into the pineapple design. A super good project to use up your scraps. When done you will have a 52 X62 top. See sample at the store. There will be some pre-class preparation for class. Bring a lunch. Makes you think of the wedding ring pattern but much more simple to do. Two day class be sure and bring lunch and enjoy the process of making this quilt. Bring a lunch. Pattern includes one pocket but it can be switched up to put a pocket on both sides and well as pattern can be downsized to fit the smaller kitchen mixers. The designer Debbie Maddy uses half square triangles and no Y-seams or trapizoids but still bring the same stunning effect. (See sample at the store.) Bring your lunch. As we go forward the blocks will be progressively more difficult. For those of you that want to learn or need a refresher on technique for different blocks - this is the class for you.
