Plan early to join us on the amazing one-day mystery tour!! Although I can t tell you a lot about this tour, I will let you know this is going to be an exciting one! We will start off the morning around 7 am on a Windstar motor coach. When we arrive at our destination, we will have a step-on guide join us for the day. We will visit some very interesting places that I think you will find fascinating and enjoy a nice lunch. We will plan on arriving back into Marion by 6 pm. Pricing includes motor coach transportation, all admissions to included venues, lunch and gratuities for guide and driver. Final payment will be due June 14th. 2 I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season and are now ready to start off another new year! We are excited to have some wonderful trips planned for 2015 including Hawaii, France, San Antonio, and the Columbia and Snake River cruise, as well as some wonderful dinner theatres, the one-day mystery trip and more to be announced at a later date! Our movie days continue to be a favorite of many as well as the informational seminars. Plan to join us for a Connect Club event very soon. You ll be glad you did! Just before Christmas we returned from a wonderful cruise on the Danube River in Germany and Austria, where we did just a little shopping at the Christmas Markets! What an amazing sight to behold! With the early cold temperatures, we have quite a few people looking forward to the Hawaiian Cruise in February. Those are always wonderful times with fantastic people and a chance to create some special memories. I hope within this New Year, you will be able to create some special memories, and may one or more of those memories include the Connect Club!

The catalyst Margie s friend passed away earlier in the year and had named her own daughter as Executor. The daughter was a busy surgeon in Chicago, raising her small children, and going through a divorce. The daughter felt overwhelmed and somewhat resentful and sought out Margie s help in selling the family home, closing out accounts, and working with the Estate s attorney and tax preparer. Both of Margie s sons are busy with careers, hobbies, and raising children. Her eldest is a busy attorney in Washington, D.C. and her youngest is a CPA in Denver. Margie doesn t want to place the heavy burden of administering her estate on her own children s shoulders and would like another option. Margie s attorney also advised her that her sons, as non-iowa residents, cannot serve as Executor without an Iowa individual or bank serving as Co-Executor with them. Margie should talk to Matt and Tara about having FSB s Trust Department serve as Executor/Trustee or as a Co-Executor/Trustee with a busy child. The children can have the peace of mind that things are being done appropriately, without interfering with their own lives. : Tuesday, January 20 Join your Connect Club friends for your choice of five movies currently showing at the Collins Road Theatres! The doors will be open at 8:30. Enjoy all the free popcorn you can eat and all the pop or coffee you can drink! The concession stand is also open to purchase anything else you might like to have. At 9:15 we will have announcements, door prizes and a synopsis of the movies being shown that day with a chance to change theatres for the movie of your choice, and to get those re-fills before we start the show! 6 Trip Cancellation Policy If you are signed up for a trip and it is necessary for you to cancel, every effort will be made to give you a full or partial refund. If a trip is cancelled due to insufficient reservation numbers, you will receive a full refund. On tours where an outside agent is used, we must adhere to the written cancellation policy of the agent. There are many times when a full refund is NOT possible due to ticket purchases, meal number guarantees, etc. As a reminder, cancellation insurance is available (and, in some cases, included in the trip price) for all of our extended domestic and international trips. Please review each individual trip for details. Travel with a Friend Traveling with the Connect Club is a great way to make new friends, but it's also a wonderful way to reconnect with a familiar friend by inviting him or her to join you on a trip! Connect Club members are allowed to invite friends to join them on any of our trips, whether it's a one-day trip or an extended domestic or international trip. Because we know they will enjoy their new- and renewedfriendships while on the trip, we will invite them to become a permanent part of our Connect Club. Please remember the free Connect Club events such as movie days and seminars are for members only! We appreciate your cooperation and understanding! Note about Deadlines Please be aware that the sign up deadlines reflect the requirements of our travel partners. There are also minimum numbers that we are required to meet by these deadlines in order to avoid having to cancel a trip. To make sure you won't be disappointed, please sign up early! In case a tour is already full, please add your name to the wait list, so in case someone should have to cancel, we can fill their place with you! Fuel Surcharge Fuel surcharges have become a part of motor coach and air travel. With trips arranged so far in advance, it is impossible to accurately determine the cost of transportation. Our travel partners do their best to avoid these surcharges, but frequently have to pass the cost along to us. For this reason, trip prices are subject to change, and will be reflected in the final billing. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to continued travel with each of you! Waiting Lists Connect Club trips can fill up very quickly, and space is almost always limited! But don't be discouraged if you find that a trip is full. Just give us a call and we will be happy to add your name to any trip that is of interest to you. Then, if there is a cancellation, you will be contacted in the order in which your call was received.
