Delay in Miss Wells taking up the post is due to notice period reasons. Miss Angela Wells to take up post of Head Teacher on 27 th November. Fundraising at school covered panto trip (102 kids) therefore, staff asked if GCC could fund cooking/baking project. GCC agreed, however amount to be agreed. Art project to continue, theme will be Beauty and the Beast. Judges to be Gabrielle Ivinson and Rachel Prizes to be provided as previous years selection boxes. Bridget requested research into the first names of the people on the Memorial rather than just them being known by their initial and surname. Notices on Village notice board and shop also at memorial. No Parking restriction for Wreath Laying Ceremony so as enough space for attendees and not blocked as in previous years, cones to be put out on Saturday midday. Council to put up notice on Saturday at nearby post. Bridget to encourage word of mouth co-operation as much as possible to speak to drivers who usually park in the area, so enforcement does not have to be carried out.
