Mustang Al Hejailan Project Management Directory Mega Project 2.0 PACKAGES A & D (KACOLD, Central Plant, Service Tunnel, Site Development and Underground Parking) 2.1 Project General Data: Start Date 20 February 2011 Revised Completion Date (Rev. 07) 30 June 2015 Elapsed Time (Days) Rev Elapsed Time (%) Rev % Remaining Time (Days) Rev Remaining Time (%) Rev % Percentage of Completion (Planned) % Percentage of Completion (Actual) 93.11% 2.2 Project Description: King Abdullah Centre for Oncology & Liver Diseases (KACOLD) is mainly a Tower building consisting of 23 floors (21+2 Basement levels). Total built up area of the Tower is 83,750 M2. The project will also include a connecting bridge between the new Tower and the existing North Tower at levels 2 and 3. The Central Plant building consists of (5) floors including two (2) Mezzanine floors. Total gross area of the building equals to 12,630 M2. The building will house the electromechanical utilities such as Power Generators, Chillers, and other major equipment. February 2015 Page 3
4 The Service Tunnel to be constructed under this project is 514 Linear Meters long and will connect the Central Plant with KACOLD with a provision for other future hospital expansions. The tunnel will house all electromechanical utilities. Underground Parking A The building will be of a total built up area equal to 18,000 M2 and will accommodate 422 cars. KACOLD Annex (Previously Parking B) The building will be of a total built up area equal to 9,180 M2 and will accommodate medical and clinical services. 2.3 Contractor Manpower: The average total no. of Contractor direct manpower during this month was equal to Construction Equipment: The total construction equipment used by the Contractor during this month was 163 different equipment including Tower & Mobile Cranes, Trucks, Trailers, Bobcats, Poclains, Concrete Vibrators, Concrete Pumps, JCB s, Compactors etc. 2.5 Evaluation Based on the on the Actual Progress: The total elapsed duration from the start of construction is 1,469 days. The elapsed time represents 92.33% of the total project duration. Overall progress of the project as of 28 February 2015 is equal to 93.11%. The planned progress for the month of February 2015 was %. Underground Parking Area The project will include the construction of an underground parking area in the vicinity that will accommodate a total of 522 cars. The Service Tunnel to be constructed under this project is 550 Linear Meters long and will be connected to the Service Tunnel of KACOLD project. February 2015 Page 23
