6 10 11 Commercial Commercial Zuellig Building Philippines A green architectural landmark in the heart of the Makati central business district, the Zuellig Building is the first development in the Philippines to achieve LEED core and shell pre-certification at the gold level. LEED refers to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, which is a widely accepted green building rating system of voluntary consensus-based international standards established by the United States Green Building Council to promote sustainable design and construction. A specific set of processes was adhered to at every stage of the project to ensure conformance to stringent LEED criteria in constructing the 33-storey Zuellig Building, which includes an office tower, a two-storey retail podium and five levels of basement car parking. The green project successfully combines design creativity and building performance efficiency to achieve significant water and energy savings and waste reduction. The building s all-glass façade uses double-paned low-emissivity glass to minimise heat gain and allow 90% of the interior to enjoy natural sunlight. Depending on the daylight intensity, the electric lights are adjusted using an automated dimming system. Airflow and air quality are regulated through CO2 censors according to the estimated number of people in the building. Energy consumption is reduced during off-peak hours with variable speed drives for chilled water pumps. Water is conserved by capturing moisture and condensation. The building also operates a waste management system for the collection of paper and other recyclable materials.

7 12 13 Commercial Commercial Ramanujan IT City Alliance 1 st Project India Situated in a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at the beginning of Chennai s IT corridor, the Ramanujan IT park is being developed under India s first major alliance contract in the construction sector. Project has a total built up area of over 750,000 square meters with an international convention centre and serviced apartments in about acres of land. The site splits into two distinct operational zones, acres of Processing Zone consisting six IT blocks of 1876,673 sqft. and 1.5 acre of Non-Processing Zone consisting of 110 service apartments and convention centre to seat 1500 delegates totaling in area 2,932,531sqft. The project got the pre certification in LEED at the gold level.

9 16 17 Residential Residential Tritvam Residential Project India Developed under an alliance contract, this project involves the construction of five high-end residential towers as part of the Tritvam premium waterfront residential complex in the port city of Kochi on India s south-west coast. The 25-storey towers comprise about 100 three and four-bedroom apartments each for a total of 475 apartments. The complex occupies a 3.4-hectare site and includes a clubhouse, landscaped podium and car park facilities.

10 18 19 Residential Residential Palm Springs Residential Towers India The Palm Springs development provides luxury integrated community living in Gurgaon in the Indian state of Haryana. Spread over 19 acres, Palm Springs features 300 high-end apartments and 100 luxury villas. We were responsible for the construction of six towers of up to 17 storeys with underground car park facilities, a clubhouse and swimming pool as well as electro-mechanical services and landscaping.

12 22 Industrial Angul Integrated Steel Plant Project India We are undertaking civil and concrete works at Jindal Steel & Power s Angul integrated steel project to develop plant facilities for steel production and power generation. The project, located on India s east coast, in the state of Orissa, has a design capacity of 12.5 million tonnes of steel per annum and 2,600 megawatts and is being developed in three phases. Work will initially focus on raw material handling system and plate mill works.

13 24 25 Industrial Industrial Caterpillar Indonesia We are constructing two fabrication and assembly buildings for Caterpillar s new mining truck facility in Batam. The buildings are part of Caterpillar s longterm capacity expansion plans to improve its support for mining customers in the Asia region. We are responsible for erecting and installing two pre-engineered metal buildings totalling 80,000 square metres. Associated civil and structural works include all concrete structures, ancillary steel structures, roads and pavements, site drainage, architectural and landscaping as well as all mechanical and electrical works. The facility in Batam is Caterpillar s second in Indonesia.

15 28 29 Entertainment and hospitality Entertainment and hospitality Wynn Resorts Macau Since successfully completing the first Wynn Resorts luxury integrated resort in Macau in 2006, we have been involved with realising every Macau project for the hotel and casino developer and operator to date. For our fourth consecutive project from Wynn Resorts, we are designing and building the Wynn Cotai integrated hotel resort. Described as the single most important project for Wynn Resorts, Wynn Cotai occupies a site on the Cotai Strip, which is reclaimed land between the islands of Taipa and Coloane. The project includes the construction of a luxury hotel and a mixed-use podium comprising gaming, dining, retail and convention facilities, a nightclub and numerous specialist attractions. The resort site covers a construction floor area of more than 450,000 square metres. Our other Macau projects for Wynn Resorts include the award-winning five-star Wynn Macau, an expansion to add more gaming space and dining and retail outlets as well as a second fully integrated resort hotel, the all-suite Encore at Wynn Macau.

16 30 31 Entertainment and hospitality Entertainment and hospitality City of Dreams Macau For our first project on Macau s Cotai Strip, which is being developed into Asia s Las Vegas Strip with major integrated resorts and casinos, we constructed City of Dreams. The iconic integrated resort includes 600,000 square metres of developed floor space, four luxury hotel towers, a 40,000-square metre casino, retail and dining outlets and two theatres, one of which features the largest water show of its kind in the world. As many as 8,000 staff and workers were involved in constructing the massive property and about 40,000 tonnes of structural steel, 40,000 tonnes of steel reinforcing and 11,000 glass façade panels were used. We worked closely with Macau s airport and port terminal on logistics to ensure the huge amounts of materials for the project were efficiently delivered to where they were needed on the site and on time. The scale and scope of the project also required a purposebuilt six-level Energy Centre to house power substations, a central cooling plant and an emergency generator.

18 34 35 Education Education Australian International School Hong Kong Rising 10 storeys at the junction of Waterloo Road and Norfolk Road in Kowloon, the state-of-the-art Australian International School houses primary and secondary teaching facilities in 27 classrooms, a workshop, laboratories, offices, an auditorium and two gymnasiums. The school also features a rooftop swimming pool, a football pitch, a covered car park and additional playground areas. We were responsible for the design and construction of the school, which was recognised at the Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards in 2001 with the Medal of the Year for design excellence.

19 36 37 Education Education Hong Kong Academy Hong Kong The new Hong Kong Academy campus in Sai Kung features a 20,000-square metre five-storey school with classrooms, learning support facilities, an international standard gymnasium and a multi-use performance space containing a 350-seat auditorium and an 80-seat theatre. Green features are incorporated into the design of the school, which aims to be goldcertified under The Hong Kong Building Environmental Assessment Method, or HK-BEAM. The school is targeting to achieve significant water and energy savings under HK-BEAM. Energy consumption is reduced by employing displacement ventilation for more energy-efficient cooling and improved indoor air quality compared to conventional systems. Classrooms are designed to maximise natural sunlight and will use daylight and occupancy sensors as part of an energy-efficient lighting system. Water-saving devices will be installed to reduce water use by up to 30%. The landscaped roof area uses low-emissivity products while doors, flooring and other interior fittings are produced from sustainable timber and natural products.

21 Government 41 Australian Embassy Indonesia Following our development of the current Australian Embassy in Jakarta in the early 1990s, we are constructing the iconic new Australian Embassy complex, which will occupy a 40,500-square metre brownfield site in Jakarta s Patra Kuningan district. The construction of the new complex includes a five-storey chancery, an official residence for the Head of Mission, accommodation for 32 staff, recreational facilities, four guard stations, a contiguous basement, engineering services infrastructure as well as comprehensive landscaping.

22 42 43 Government Government Juvenile Training Complex Hong Kong As the first training centre of its kind in Hong Kong, the awardwinning juvenile training complex in Tuen Mun benefits young offenders with useful training in a variety of trades, including hairstyling, interior decorating, printing, information technology, professional cleaning and the arts. Collaborating closely with the government s Architectural Services Department and Social Welfare Department, we created a warm and secure campus environment for about 400 young offenders in our design and construction of the 6,100-square metre residential training complex. Inside, there are 16 classrooms, a library, a multi-purpose hall with a stage and an in-house medical centre. Outside, the complex features a rock climbing wall, a football pitch, two basketball courts, gardens, landscaped areas and a jogging track. The project involved erecting four new buildings comprising separate dormitories for boys and girls, an administration block, a training centre and the restoration of an historic building. Working with a tight timeframe and significant site restrictions, we were responsible for the piling, substructure, superstructure, electrical and mechanical work, architectural finishes and all external works. The Architectural Services Department recognised the project with the gold award at its Green Contractor Award in 2005 and 2006 and a Certificate of Merit at its 2007 Annual Award.

24 46 47 Healthcare Healthcare Tin Shui Wai Hospital Hong Kong Located in Tin Shui Wai New Town, Tin Shui Wai Hospital will be an acute general hospital serving the community of New Territories West. The main facilities and services to be provided at Tin Shui Wai Hospital include 260 in-patient beds, a number of ambulatory care services, both general and specialist out-patient clinics, a daytime rehabilitation centre and various community care services. Under the design and construction contract, we will build a 12-storey complex with a single-storey basement and an internal road network on a site area of 13,300 square metres. The project is expected to complete by mid-2016.
