This evening, welcome dinner at one of the popular alfresco restaurants. Meet your fellow travellers and pilots. Day 2 Airlie Beach to Undara Day 3 Undara to Cobbold Gorge/Forsayth Fly the pristine coastline from Airlie Beach to Montes Reef Resort where you will enjoy a seafood lunch overlooking the magnificent coast at the beachfront bar and restaurant. After lunch fly over some of the most spectacular scenery and coastline, before arriving in Ingham for a short stop. En route to Undara you will fly through the gateway to the Wet Tropics through the Herbert Valley and over Wallaman Falls, Australia s highest permanent single drop waterfall, located in Girringun national park. The falls stand a majestic 268 metres and are positioned between forest ridges and rainforest. Also be one of the few people to see the breathtaking Blencoe falls from the air. Arriving at Undara for the night Undara Lava Tubes Early morning this morning with a Bush breakfast before a tour of the Lava Tubes Board your luxury helicopter again and head to the Outback town of Georgetown for refuel and lunch followed by a tour of the gem museum. Stay Undara Your choice of Train Carriages or cabins 2 After lunch we head for Cobbold Gorge or Forsayth for the night. This includes a walking visit to the grave of pioneer John Corbett and an overview of the geological history that has created the rugged sandstone formations. Cape Crawford is situated approximately 120 kilometres from the ocean and is so named because it is situated at the northern extremity or cape of the Abner Ranges, first discovered in 1880 by drover Lindsay Crawford. The Abner Ranges are home to an impressive site known as the Lost City covering an area of some eight square kilometres and dotted with towering sandstone formations.
