Darrell has a degree in civil engineering with over 20 years' experience specialising in civil design, economic evaluation and project management for traffic/transportation and roading projects including traffic management, crash reduction studies, traffic impact studies, traffic modelling (micro simulation and intersection analysis), transport planning and safety work. Darrell s experience has been gained from both the Client and Consultant perspective incorporating extensive Project Management, Design Management and Contract Management experience. Darrell is a Certified Commissioner (Decision Maker) under the Ministry for the Environment s Resource Management Act (RMA) Making Good Decisions programme and a Registered Development Contributions Commissioner as administered by the Department of Internal Affairs. Darrell is also the only expert traffic/transportation/roading Mediator/Facilitator appointed to assist the Auckland Unitary Plan Independent Hearings Panel.
