Thandi is one of Australia s most promising female RnB and soul vocalists. Mau Power 1.35pm 2.20pm Hailing from the remote, yet culturally rich, Thursday Island, Mau Power is an award-winning pioneer of Torres Strait Islander rap music, blending hip-hop with traditional culture. Katy Steele 2.40pm 3.40pm Katy Steele s sound is bold, bright, electric, raw and soulful. She s armed with one of the most distinctive voices in Australian music, complemented with synthetic and sensual instrumentation. The Grates 4.05pm 5.05pm The Grates burst out of Brisbane with a larger-than-life sound. Their debut album was a renegade hit, while their latest release embraces punk and grunge. Melbourne Ska Orchestra 5.30pm 6.30pm Award-winning Melbourne Ska Orchestra s live performances are nothing short of spectacular, taking audiences on a sonic journey of dynamic horns, crystal vocals and classic ska rhythms. Robbie Miller 12.45pm 1.30pm Robbie Miller first stepped onto the Australian music scene when he won Triple J Unearthed NIMAs in He recently released his debut EP The Faster The Blood Slows featuring single The Pain. Jones Jnr. 3.55pm 4.40pm Jones Jnr. is the creation of vocalist Ev Jones and producer Morgan Jones, blending old-school soul and contemporary beats. They ve toured with the likes of Jill Scott, Kelis and Fat Freddy s Drop. Tuka Left. 1.45pm 2.30pm Artfully bridging the divide between organic and synthetic, hip-hop and jazz, Left. is a collaborative electronic project featuring guitarist Jono Graham and vocalist Sarah Corry. Gordi 2.50pm 3.35pm Sydney folktronica songstress Gordi has captivated Australia with her singles, Can we Work it Out, Nothing s as it Seems and Taken Blame, as featured on Triple J and FBi Radio. Her ethereal sound combines vintage vocal layering with earthy guitars and pensive lyrics. Tuka 5pm 6pm Sydney-based hip-hop artist Tuka has produced a staggering volume of work over the past decade, both in his capacity as one third of acclaimed hip-hop outfit Thundamentals and as a solo artist. GIO Oz Day 10K Wheelchair Road Race 9am 11am Alfred Street Wheelchair athletes from across the globe will descend upon Sydney for the 27th Annual GIO Oz Day 10K this Australia Day in The Rocks. It s free to watch, plus enjoy a free barbeque breakfast from 8am. Race on Rollers 11am 3pm George Street After the exciting 2016 Oz Day 10K Wheelchair Road Race, you ll get a chance to have a go yourself!
