Are Qualmark endorsed accommodation providers also being used for famils and events? 7 Evidence Who collects the evidence?

2 22. Will evidence be stored centrally? Can operators scan and send in the evidence documentation (evidence)? Occasionally we drive TNZ famil participants around, are we required to go through the Safer Driving programme? What level of evidencing does TNZ require low risk attraction sites which aren t governed by a regulatory body to provide? E.g. museum, art gallery I see theatres in the list of risky activities. They have their own safety systems. What provisions have been made to agree that their systems are OK? Will we be required to supply the same level of compliance detail from event organisers? 9 Risk Assessment process Are we required to complete the new famil risk assessment procedure for famils arranged prior to 4 April? On occasion receive 'on the spot' famil requests. If a risk assessment cannot be completed in time prior to the famil what options are there? If a risk assessment isn't completed prior to a famil, what repercussions will there be for the RTO? How are visiting media's/tnz film crews' own potential risks (i.e. drone operator certificates) being assessed, and information on such made available to RTOs for our own assurance? What about community activities such as recommendation to check out local night markets or such? Should a famil have a designated 'free time' at night and choose to do their own thing, What do you do? Other questions raised during TNZ webinar 31 March Are waiver forms that operators send us for PAX to fill out now no longer valid? Some famils (esp media famils) are a punt for both TNZ and the RTO on the level of publicity that might arise. Some have a good return, others not so much. We understand TNZ can't control the content produced, but will TNZ put greater scrutiny over ROI from now on, given the greater work involved Will TNZ s famil management process webinar be available to access later? With this new risk assessment procedure in place will TNZ's lead times be more realistic? 11 Tourism New Zealand Process When is a Tourism New Zealand manager s approval required and when will a Tourism New Zealand General Manager approval required? Do we need to complete a risk assessment for Tourism New Zealand events like TRENZ or offsite meetings? Who can I contact if I need help/have questions?
