3 Morning In the early morning, the streets and parklands of Burwood are awash with a soft dawn light that brings the subtle details of both the architecture and natural surrounds to life. With the landscape bathed in a luminous glow, it s time to explore the delights of this enchanting neighbourhood

4 Toorak Road Burwood Old + New Historic Burwood Burwood is a suburb with a rich, modern history that began with the area being named Ballyshanassy in This lush area was known for its farms and market gardens, such as Albers Daffodil Farm which is now the current site of Altus. The suburb expanded in the early 20th century with the extension of thetoorak Road tramline. After World War II, development continued along Burwood Highway, the central artery of Melbourne s eastern suburbs which links inner-city Kooyong with the beautiful forests of the Dandenong Ranges. New Burwood With its leafy streets, proximity to Melbourne, charming local shops, and sprawling parks, Burwood is a highly coveted suburb that appeals to everyone from young families and students to professional couples drawn to an area known for its safety and convenience.
