Smaller hand held items can be accommodated in the carriages, however larger items should be stored in the baggage compartment. Please present larger baggage items to the Train Manager at the baggage compartment. The baggage compartment is located in the SWG carriage directly behind the locomotive on services travelling from Wellington to Masterton and at the rear of the train for services travelling from Masterton to Wellington. Groups travelling with large amounts of baggage should contact Tranz Metro Group Bookings on SuperGold card SuperGold card holders can travel free on Metlink offpeak services. Weekday off-peak is between 9.00am and 3.00pm, and after 6.30pm. Off-peak also applies all day on weekends and public holidays. Travel is subject to the General Conditions of Carriage for Passenger Services of KiwiRail.
