Over the past year, our visitor numbers and revenue have once again seen a double-digit growth, while our customer base remains a healthy ratio of 20% locals, 30% mainland visitors and 50% overseas visitors. China made a significant rebound since last quarter in 2017 and recorded an overall 15% growth. The base for our overseas visitors continues to grow, with visitors coming from more than 100 countries and cities worldwide. Japan, Korea and South East Asia being the key sources for short haul markets while UK, US and Australia as the key sources for long haul markets, plus the arrivals from a number of European cities also shows satisfactory results, suggesting that sky100 s overseas recognition continues to grow.

3 Sky Letterpress Printing: Letterpress printing was once a vibrant industry in Hong Kong, but it faded into history with the emergence of offset and digital printing. This summer, you can experience the fun of traditional letterpress printing at sky100, from type selection and typesetting to inking and printing. For only HK$20, you can create your own artisanal notebook with our onsite letterpress printing set! On 12 th and 19 th of August, the owner of the last remaining letterpress printing company in Hong Kong, Mr. Yam Wai-sang of Kwong Wah Printing, will be demonstrating the traditional letterpress printing at sky100, and share the history of this once thriving industry with visitors. Sky-high Sampan Ride: Besides Hong Kong s red, green and blue taxis, have you ever taken a water taxi in Hong Kong? Water taxis are sampans and other ferries operating in Aberdeen, Sai Kung and the outlying islands that provide short-distance rides or transport freight. During the campaign period, you can step aboard the sky100 sampan and enjoy a memorable sky-high experience of traditional fisher folk culture!

4 100-floor Herbal Tea Shop: Despite their dark and ordinary appearance, herbal teas are popular tonic drinks that are not only beneficial to health, but are also listed as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Hong Kong. However, as the city has progressed, the numbers of herbal tea shops and the varieties of tea have been declining. This summer, sky100 will introduce its own authentic herbal tea shop and offer fascinating insights on the benefits of different herbal tea recipes. After your visit, you won t want to miss these iconic merchants out on the street! Sky Martial Arts Club: Hong Kong s kung fu movies, as well as its world-famous martial artists like Bruce Lee and Ip Man, have taken the world by storm. In the olden days, Hong Kong was a giant melting pot of multi-faction martial arts, in which it was common to find martial arts clubs on rooftops and in bone-setting clinics. Now, sky100 is offering you a glimpse inside a traditional Martial Arts Club where you can practice your moves on a wooden dummy or become a lion dancer!

5 Sky-high Guided Tours Bring the Scenery to Life By combining breathtaking views with intriguing stories, sky100 is taking the visitor experience to a whole new level. In collaboration with Walk in Hong Kong and the Institute of Active Ageing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, sky100 is pleased to launch its Sky-high Guided Tour. The tour has been tailor-made by Walk in Hong Kong to complement the deck s amazing views. Members of the Institute of Active Ageing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, all of whom are native senior citizens, will also be invited as docents to recount Hong Kong s many changes and unique stories. The guided tours will be available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the campaign period in English (11:30am & 2:00pm), Mandarin (3:30pm) and Cantonese (5:30pm). Guided tours are free, visitors can simply register at Customer Service Counter on 100/F, 30 minutes prior to the tour starting time. Each tour admits up to 20 visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
