Major achievements / Awards: Research Award: Award : Young Scientist Fellowship Organization : School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi Period : July 2007 to January Major achievements: Establishment of Highway Engineering Lab: New well-equipped Highway Engineering Laboratory was established using the grant Rs. 5 lakhs sanctioned by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in Equipments have been procured and erected to carry out various tests for class work and consultancy on highway materials. The lab is modernized using the grant Rs lakhs, sanctioned by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), in After the establishment of Highway Engineering Laboratory, a New Practical Course Highway Engineering Laboratory was introduced in the curriculum for B.E. Civil Engineering, V Semester students from the year 2000 onwards. 16. Consultancy & Contribution through Highway Engineering Lab: Consultancy service is being offered to various Government and private agencies. Various tests on bitumen, aggregate and bitumen-aggregate mixes are being carried out. The following are some of the beneficiary agencies.
