The agreement is about the exercise of Na ve Title Rights and Interests by the Bigambul People in the agreement area. QI06/056 Bigambul People Revenue Sharing ILUA 5. The par es consent to the valida on of any Future Acts done prior to the Execu on Date by the State in the Agreement Area to the extent they were done invalidly for the purposes of Na ve Title and can be validated in this Agreement. 5. The par es: (a) consent to the doing of the Agreed Acts to the extent that they are Surrenders or Future Acts; and (b) if any of the Agreed Acts, which are also Future Acts, are done prior to Registra on, agree to the valida ng of those Agreed Acts. 5.5 The par es agree that any Surrender permanently ex nguishes all Na ve Title Rights and Interests in the area of the Surrender from the date the Surrender takes effect. 6. The Na ve Title Par es surrender all Na ve Title Rights and Interests over the Surrender Area. Surrender means the surrender to the State (and the permanent ex nguishment of) all Na ve Title Rights and Interests in the Surrender Area. Surrender Area means the area of any Revenue Share Lot depicted in Schedule and described in Schedule which is sold in accordance with the process set out in clause 6 [Revenue Share Lots may be sold by a grant in fee simple, with the surrender taking effect over the Revenue Share Lots immediately prior to the issue of the deed of grant]. Responses to an applica on to register an ILUA where the applica on has not been cer fied: Any person claiming to hold na ve tle in rela on to land or waters in the area covered by any of the agreements may wish, in response to this no ce, to make a na ve tle determina on applica on or equivalent applica on under a law of a state or territory in respect of any part of the area. The applica on must be made by May 07. If that applica on is registered on the Register of Na ve Title Claims, the registered na ve tle claimants must be a party to the relevant agreement before it can be registered.
