1 Summary of 10-Year Revenue Trends November 2017 saw declines in some reporting areas but increases in others, as the Strip declined. Statewide, casino win fell by 2.30% despite a 3.55% growth in slot win. Slot handle increased by 3.70%, so slot win would have been higher if hold percentage had not fallen. Game win, however, fell by 13.10%, largely due to a decline in baccarat win (see immediately below). Las Vegas Strip casinos posted better results in slots, with a 4.74% increase in win. Slot handle increased, and hold did as well. Conversely, table hold fell, while an overall smaller handle meant that win declined 16.78%. Baccarat win shrank by 24.97%, with handle up, due to the hold shrinking. Downtown Las Vegas had a better month, with an 8.03% increase in slot win boosting results. Overall slot play increased by 4.21%, with hold up Game win grew by 3.67%, despite a lower hold percentage, despite a 15.44% decline in hold percentage, because of much higher handle. Total win grew by 6.79%. The Boulder Strip, a touchstone for the locals market, was flat, with total win up 0.08%. Slot win declined because of lower hold despite higher handle, while game win grew by 17.60% despite a lower handle, due to higher hold. Washoe County showed a slight increase in overall win (2.00%) although slot win only grew 0.20%. Game win grew by 10.50%.
